Party in the USA was a Disney song!?!? :o :o

But yeah, it's doing really well in the US. I've still not listened to it yet. It could go top 40 if it was released in the UK.

I love this! I was actually surprised! I assume it's about her personal struggles and It's nice to see her on her way to recovery. A brilliant and strong song to relaunch with.

Perez Hilton is streaming a good quality version if anyone is interested.

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing!
Never thought I'd be blown away by a Demi f***ing Lovato song, but this is outstanding. Definetly in a different league from most $h!tty Disney songs, really like the lyrics and I love the vulnerability in her voice. Hope it's a big WW hit.
Yeah Party In The Usa was a disney song, Miley Cyrus has left Hollywood records though. Very Good Song and should get Demi a top 10 hit, I doubt it will get top 5 but I hope she does well.

Oh WOW! How powerful is this song?

I am actually blown away by it! Those lyrics are really powerful and emotional. The vulnerability she brings to the song is incredible too!

Ugh. Another Disney star that I've grown to appreciate! :drama:

Also, it's popjustice's "Song of the day".

Yeah, it was by Miley, who was ultimately the Disney Queen from 2006-2010.

One would assume, yes. But on Ryan Seacrest yesterday, I'm sure she said she heard it before rehab?

Yeah - she didn't write the song, but to her it's very much about her personal struggles. She said she heard and recorded it a year ago, and was overcome with emotion of the lyrics etc... then everything happened, and she tried to re-record it but it didn't have the same "cry for help" that the original recording had... so I think that's where the vulnerability in the song comes from, knowing that actually she sung this as she was going through all that $h!t.

Completely addicted to this now

Video premieres at 7pm EST, which iirc is now! :D
I'm watching an online stream of E! News waiting for it to come on. It's looking like it'll be on at the end of the show, around 7.55pm ET or 0.55am BST. They are doing a couple of interviews with her too :) They've showed a 5 second clip, and it looks so emotional :snif:

It's just been on. It is so beautiful  and you could feel her emotion - I shed a small tear :snif: I can't wait to watch it in HQ!

Like the song, very good powerful ballad. Her vocals ruin it however. She goes far over the top and frankly, this girl needs some breathing lessons. This song would be amazing if it was sung by another singer, it reminds me of Kelly Clarkson's 'Already Gone'.
It sort of reminds me of Battlefield by Jordin Sparks, and that is one of my favourite songs of all-time! :)
I really like this  So many great tunes coming out right about now.
