"Collide" starting now on Radio 1. This is very different to her normal stuff (she doesn't sound like a diva anymore, yay) I'm liking it so far.

 

Edit - It sounds very boring now - not what I was expecting (her voice still isn't as bad as previously) doesn't really go anywhere for me and it's not a big dance anthem imo - more like a dance ballad

Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall and Dirty Dancer have both been reduced to 59p. Hopefully the former will climb a bit more then :D And hopefully it can push a climb on the official chart this week!

Sooo....the instrumental bed of Leona's song is Avicii's excellent song Penguin;

 

 

Nice, it's quite understated but an interesting direction for her comeback single. Love the melody, I always thought that Penguin could have done with a vocal.

I was a bit disappointed in a Collide, it's very good but kind of like a weaker Happiness to me. And it blatantly rips off Penguin by Avicii.

The Leona track is amazing!

and hopefully the latter DIES. Dirty Dancer is one of the worst songs in recent times :drama: Great for Coldplay, I like it and it's good to see an indie song holding up well

meh, Collide is really dull on first listen :( sounds like a Kelly Rowland b-side, and the instrumental sounds exactly like that Penguin track

I see the new Leona Lewis track (and by extension, Avicii) have "borrowed" from the fabulous Penguin Cafe Orchestra's song 'Perpetuum Mobile.' The piano riffs are quite similar.

Okay, after 3 listen's, I absolutely love it. So different for Leona, and really will stand out on Radio right now, great beat but some INCREDIBLE vocals. "CRASH INTO ME AT FULL SPEED WE CAN COLLIDE'. Beautiful, i'm glad you can still tell its Leona Lewis singing. :wub: Hopefully future #1, and brought forward to Agust release. :heart:
