August 5, 201113 yr Same. 'Rated R' was such a good album. 'Wait Your Turn', 'Hard', 'Fire Bomb', 'Te Amo', 'Cold Case Love', 'The Last Song' etc, all brilliant. 'What's My Name?' aside (probably my favourite single from her, oddly enough), everything on Loud was utter dross and this single is her worst in quite some time. "'Fire Bomb' is one of my favorite songs. It kills me that it was never a single. It’s not the most positive message; it’s just honest. It’s about wanting revenge, because you just feel like no one can understand what you’re feeling unless you burn them the way they burned you. And that was at a time when I didn’t really want to be angry but I couldn’t help it, and 'Fire Bomb' was like that therapeutic song for me." :D
August 5, 201113 yr I would've killed for it to have been a single! :( Probably one of my favourite songs by her actually!
August 6, 201113 yr I predict Cheers to have around the same success as Katy Perrys Last Friday night has done in the UK Edited August 6, 201113 yr by AV102
August 6, 201113 yr What's strange about "Firebomb" is that it's one of RiRi's favourite songs by herself...
August 8, 201113 yr I have given the album a general spin and I must say I am very much impressed. Love 'Raining Men', 'Fading' and 'Skin'. She's got EXCELLENT A&R people who have an excellent ear for quality production and strong hooks. It's a little disjointed and doesn't flow excellently so wouldn't put it quite in the category of POP ALBUM OF THE DECADE or anything like that. Hopefully with the 6th record she can combine the the succinctness and craft of production of 'Rated R' with poise and attention to hooks and melody given with 'Loud'. She's almost ALMOST ALL THERE. Amazing journey she's gone over the last 5/6 years.... Edited August 8, 201113 yr by heartraterapid
August 16, 201113 yr Used to hate this, it was one of my least favourites on the album. NOW, I'm loving it since replaying it again !
August 17, 201113 yr I heard Cheers twice today on the radio :o I think this acctually might not flop - I really thought it would miss the top 40, like 'Hard' but I'm not so sure now - Hopefully she has a killer video! Speaking of videos, is there any news on one ? Edited August 17, 201113 yr by -Irish-Ladd-
August 26, 201113 yr VIDEO LOVE IT. It's like one of those tour music videos but with some effort actually put into it for once.
August 26, 201113 yr I love it too. Not usually a fan of tour videos but this works so well and her personality shines through so much. Love the 'RIHANNA NAVY' part at the end haha. Starting to like the song so much more now too...
August 26, 201113 yr I'll basically repeat what's been said in that it's so much better than your usual tour video! I just thought 'ugh, god...' when I read it's a tour video (see Taylor Swift's waste of what could've been a great video for Sparks Fly :() but it's actually a brilliant video!
August 26, 201113 yr Love it so much  She has such an amazing personality and it shines in this video, kind of reminds me of Robyn's video for 'Hang With Me' actually. The perfect video for this song imo.
August 26, 201113 yr I like it, but the editing isn't very good :( It's too jumpy and a bit dis-orientating. Love the cameos from Avril Lavigne, Cee-Lo Green, Kanye West & Jay-Z!
August 26, 201113 yr Perfect video - I was worried it would look a bit tacky or like a fan had mashed it all together and I'm definitely surprised how good a job her and her team have done. I kind of like how it shows that she still is the girl from Barbados as well as a super star. This song really needed a video like this to push it up the charts and I hope just that happens! August 26, 201113 yr That's one of the best tour videos I've seen, it worked very well. :) Wasn't expecting a cameo from Avril.
August 26, 201113 yr Perfect video for the song actually! I'm glad they didn't cop out and do the standard 'Don't Stop the Music' type video for it! It was perfectly put together and I'm in love with this song as much as ever!
August 26, 201113 yr Really love it, although I would've liked more action on the beach  Hopefully this can go top 5! It's not my favourite song of hers, and I don't really think it's that great of a single choice but I hope it does well! Love the 'RIHANNA NAAVVY'' at the end.... And I never noticed CeeLo Green - back to watch it again! :P
