I actually like the new Saturdays song, but I agree that far too much autotune has been used.

JTWYA is beautifully sung. It may be a bit boring lyrically but it is a nice song. I like the singing tempo and how it changes from verse to chorus. Bruno's album is ok. Nothing outstanding but better than most mainstream pop albums that's for sure.

I can't stand that song. Baby is better.

As for the lyrics, do you blame Bruno for the existance of delusional girls? So all romantic songs are stupid because they sound to good to be true? I don't get this...

I'd rather sing JTWYA in public than baby

'Just The Way You Are' is really relaxing and laid-back, still love it :P Same with 'Forget You' but for different reasons obviously!

Well, I think there's love songs out there which aren't really corny like that. Which have a bit of a spin on them. Like E.T., Love the Way You Lie, Nobody's Perfect, or one we were talking about earlier, Oopsy Daisy. Just the Way You Are is just a whole other level really.

You're right, it's not Bruno's fault those delusional girls exist, but you've got 50 Cent, Akon, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, etc. who tell them the truth, and then Bruno who just tells them what they want to hear, like they're in some fairytale or something.

It's okay if you like JTWYA though. Lots of people do. I've heard it's quite a popular song.

101 Bluey Robinson/ Showgirl

148 David Guetta ft Estelle/ One Love Is this another 59p song?

151 Alice Cooper/ School's Out Probably back because most schools broke up today

I can't say I'm surprised tbh. The music that Bruno and Cee-Lo put out is probably not a whole lot different to what was around when your Great-Grandmother liked when she was young.

I like Bright Lights, Bigger City though, so if me and your Great Grandmother ever meet, we can listen to that together. :)

Just the Way You Are and Forget You was probably the worst top 2 in the charts I've seen.

You are right, she says it's very nice to hear them with all these "talking songs" in the hit parade.

It's good you will have some kind of music you could listen too, although she said that is her least favourite Cee Lo song, so you can't win . She also doesn't call him Cee Lo because she doesn't like it, she calls him the "wee fat man" instead .

The worst top 2 for me was The black Eyed peas and Willow Smith, i'm sorry to say. And seeing Ellie at 3 after being robbed of number 1 for two weeks made me die a little inside :snif:.

I was quite uncomfortable about JTWYA actually, for the first half of the song she kept repeating that he was so handsome, and for the other half it was like she was in a trance.

Haha. Oh dear. She seems like quite a character.

And sorry about the BEPs getting #1 (well not really, I was delighted, but you know ). That was probably one of the most hated top 2's I've seen since I joined this site tbh. Although I quite liked it personally.

It was a shame about Ellie. It would've been nice if she (or even Nicole) got to #1 instead of X Factor Finalists getting their 2nd week. I thought they had a chance at the time, since the XFF were down to #10 on iTunes by the end of the week. I knew they had physicals, but it's difficult to estimate how much they're selling really.

I heard this beautiful Ellie Goulding song the other day btw. Can't remember what it was, but it was sampled on another song I was listening to, so I went to listen to the original, and it's really wow!

She is . She also loves Adele and Susan Boyle.

In the end, I am glad The black Eyed Peas were around. Because if Ellie had spent a third week at 2 behind Willow, I would probably have died. Although there is every reason to hate that top 2 IMO .

I know . it's worse for me because I'm a loon :). Although she was the technical number 1 those two weeks, so at least I know that. And the charity single was misleading too. But it's frustrating when an artist I thought would have kept flopping until dropped was so close.

Was it "Under The Sheets"? There was a remix with Chiddy in it.

I deffo think The Saturdays or Pixie should be number 1 on 4 Sept, I prefer All Fired Up though so ideally that'll be number 1. I can't see any of the new releases being number 1 though, except maybe Leona and (although I've not heard all of Freedom by Sugababes) Collide is the worst of the 4 imo, though I still really like it. I think it'll go:

1. Example

2. Leona

4. The Saturdays

6. Pixie Lott

14. Sugababes

4th of September should really be a Pixie win!

I personally think that Pixie's song is the worst of the bunch.

"Collide" >>> "All Fired Up" >>> "All About Tonight"

I don't think it was Under the Sheets, because I know that song, but the song sampled was a song from Ellie that I never heard before. Although Chiddy Bang might've been on the song. It's all a blur to me now. It's just somethings I listen to like 20 new songs in a row, and they sometimes merge together a bit, or I forget which is which exactly. But I'll go and search for them now, somehow, since I do remember loving both songs.

I think Example or Ed Sheeran will probably win the September 4th 'battle'

I totally forgot about Ed Sheeran, he could easily get number 1, he'll be top 3 at least. What with The A Team having done so well, and You Need Me being more commercial I can't see it not going top 3. I agree too, if not him then Example. I'm disappointed in Collide, it's great but I can't see it at number 1, though it will do the best out of that, All Fired Up, All About Tonight and Freddom probably. Although with the right airplay I think All Fired Up could peak the highest tbh.

I have no idea what it would be, I haven't heard of anything else. Although I hope you find it, I'm really interested to hear it :).

FOUND IT! :D Okay, it DOES feature Chiddy Bang, but it was a different song.

It's a song called High by Big Sean (I posted about him a few pages ago, coincidentally), and it features Wiz Khalifa and Chiddy Bang.

And it samples Fighter Plane:

I love both. It's a very appropriate sample, since it does make you feel like you're high.

Although, I've just remembered ANOTHER song by Wiz Khalifa which sampled Ellie Goulding. Which I've now got to try and remember.

Fighter Plane! Love that song, haven't heard it for ages!

It's amazing! :D I only heard it for the first time a few weeks ago. But it's so good. I don't know how to describe it, but it's so floaty.

It was the B-Side to her 'buzz' single Under The Sheets, I heard it on Spotify when I didn't know much her, the week it was released. From then on, I was anticipating the album :D
