Congrats Isconia (And FSR Rontvia too, on finally getting all places in the top 10 :P)

Thanks, I've never been so happy to fall down the leaderboard! it looked like I was going to end up in 8th or 10th at various stages and god knows I don't need any more of those :heehee:

Congrats Grebo! A pretty good winner there :D

I'm happy with 15th place for Cecilie, so thanks to all who voted for it!

Thanks for hosting, Rich. Excellent job as always! :D

Cheers Ghosty! No problem!

OMG :o LITERALLY new Getter Jaani.

Thanks for hosting Rich and congrats to Isconia.

Thanks Tom :D Hope you enjoyed it (and wish you could have placed higher!)

And with that I hand over power to Grebo!

Thanks for a brilliant show Richard. Great job although I wouldn't have expected anything less from you.

Isconia, here we come. :D

If I only I hadn't liked Ring Meg. :kink:

Lol :P

I was really lucky there, I think I have never qualifed, with being so close to not :P

Isconia, here we come. :D

Thanks Hits! I do love hosting but equally I'm looking forward to just being a participant next month

Wow, I gave 5 countries in the top 6 points. That's a first. :o

Great result. Grats for the well deserved victory to Isconia. :)

I'm more than happy with 18th place, MUCH higher than I was expecting! Thanks again to everyone who voted for ChrIseland. :D

Thanks to Rich for hosting too! Loved taking part in my first BJSC. ^_^

Well done Isconia, glad to see my 12 pointer won in the end. :D

Am pleased with 7th place, that's better than I would have hoped for before the contest began so definitely can't grumble at that. Thanks for hosting Gooddelta, professional as always! :D

Just thought I'd jump on the bandwagon and give my thanks to the host. Rich, as always, wonderful hosting skills, but tbh I'd expect nothing else :D

Thanks Chris, Dandy, Sugabloke, it's been my favourite live final to host by far - even in comparison to the last one I hosted in March where there were only 32 voters and it showed, the thread had only 12 pages but this month everyone was getting involved which was great. It's brilliant to see BJSC thriving again after a real lull!
FREEZE. Tusen takk! :D

Vær så god, bare hyggelig! :D

Wovon sollen wir träumen has been #1 in my chart and I've also sent it to NSC (finished 15th there though), so it was quite natural to award you 10 points! This is one of your best entries in my opinion, since ever

We WOULD however like to thank Greenfroze for their 7.

You're welcome! It was a great discovery! ^_^

Tusen takk Greenfroze! ^_^

Thanks Freeze! :D

Vår så god and you're welcome too! Delightful danish discovery indeed!

I'd like to give a big thanks to everyone who has voted for Batidas thus so far, especially the following...

Greenfroze - 12

Andain - Promises is one of my favorite BJSC entries ever now  It was a truly life enhancing song! Thank you so much for sending it, I purely and truly appreciate that

A very beautiful and inspired winner, but since Agnes Obel won I feel Frida Gold would "suit better" as a winner now. Well deserved either way though, so congratulations on your first win Isconia! ^_^

Also amazing hosting Rich. Impressive as always!

GAHHHH! Incredibly pleased with 14th! (Especially after everyone was predicting bottom 5 ) I'm genuinely happy about an upper/mid-table finish . Thank you to the couple of 12's I received! I love you!
UGH at that winner. Congrats to grebo and everything but we seem to be turning out some bloody awful winners recently.

UGH at that winner. Congrats to grebo and everything but we seem to be turning out some bloody awful winners recently.

I think the last 10 winners have been some of the best we've ever had (granted 4 of them were my entries ). Far better than 'cheap rulez' 18 months-2 years ago where the great, inspired victory deserving songs all finished 2nd behind the latest hot leak. The likes of Riverside and Video Games are quality, beautiful songs with long lasting appeal that deserve the victory and will actually go on to do well all over again in the 'Best Of' rather than some 'good for a week' non-entity that flounders once the hype wears off.

I just think I.... don't get it? For me, Video Games is okay, but for a song so empty, I didn't like her voice, she sounded too bored, and the vocals are important with so little to assist (it's like Adele, if you don't like her voice, the magic of the song is lost IMO).

I can't really moan about ballads winning seeing as I won with one. But, both Riverside and Video Games are just a bit too boring for me. I can see how they can be perceived as beautiful, but I guess they just don't quite cater to what I look for/like in a ballad.

Robot. This is why you and I are so similar. I agree 100% with what you and James have said.

(Congrats to grebo though! :D)

Ooh, I'm pleased with 12th! Didn't actually think Ciara would do that well. Thanks everyone who gave me points.
Can't wait for the next edition, does confirmation open about a week after the previous one finishes?
