Talking about Moves Like Jagger, massive shocker today. I heard it on Heart FM! :o That's right, I heard Moves Like Jagger on Heart FM before I heard it on Capital or Radio 1! :o :lol:

Thats not really a shock. MLJ is a very commercial radio sounding song. Heart have always worshipped Maroon 5 aswell. I know people complain about R1 not playlisting songs that then go on to be hits...but legally they have a much broader remit than that. They have other guidelines rather than just whether a song is chart friendly or not. They probably didn't playlist because it because they know commercial radio will hammer it and it doesn't need their support (much like most of Enrique's releases).

Yes, I would've expected them play it...but only start doing so around November time! :lol: They only started playing Dynamite a few months ago, for example.

 

Also, a bit a trivia that might interest people...

 

This week will be the first time that both the top 2 songs have both contained drums, since February when Champion and Price Tag were the top 2.

 

So that's 6 months it's taken for percussion to make a comeback at the top of the charts.

Yes. :lol: I have to say, I was very baffled at how the managed to get playlisted by almost every major radio station in the country before they even released their first single, until I did some research. :lol:

They are looked after by Global talent who own Capital and Heart. They only got the X Factor performance in exchange for those stations pushing X Factor acts more. They made a deal.

Just listened to Heaven.. defs deserves number one! Love it.. Also read she studied Medicine! Same place where I'm studying it at the mo ^_^

They added Perri before she officially went top 5 - which is why I thought they'd add Maroon 5 today. Glad they didn't though.

Unfortunately I don't think they will, if they were gonna it would have been this week, it's obvious it will be 3 this week and next week it will be overtaken by Olly and Calvin.

Radio 1 would never want to playlist it, they've blanked all of Maroon 5 and Christina's new album unless it was going to no 1 (a la Pitbull) they wouldn't add it, which is a shame as it's a great song. If they had put Tinie Tempah on the hook it might have been a different story, it worked for Dev :P
