well, thats a bit of a mess with the album chart :unsure: I hope Nero can be number 1, although I think even if they are, Adele will catch them,

I don't think we'll see any new number 1 albums until the Chilis now :(

 

with Wretch only on a 3k lead, Emeli could easily overtake in the week, although she'd need to overtake on Itunes first. Nonetheless, great to see an all new top 3, especially as the top 2 are both new British acts :D

I find it shocking if Nero really are 4.6k behind Adele and that Adele hasn't increased sales. That means Adele will be barely doing 30k so maybe has about 10k ish so far, for Nero to only have ~6k is shocking!

I find Kanye / Jay-Z's release strategy for this album simply bizarre, they could easily have been #1 had they released the physical and download the same week. Adele still #1 is something I don't get, how is it 30k+ worth of people each week are only NOW getting round to buying it? It's not even a particularly good album.

I'm not that surprised at Nero's low sales, their style of music doesn't strike me as one that'd sell albums, although having said that 'No More Idols' has been pretty big...
