it was used briefly, on that note though, it's clearly not influencing the charts that much so far, only song that's had an effect in the top 100 is At Last up to 74 (and Buck Rogers at 77 although that's from an advert)

I don't think iTunes has updated yet, Example's EP hasn't shown up on the albums chart yet.

I'm now almost certain Example will beat Ed at least this week although Ed may stick around longer.

53. Lick Ya Down - Cover Drive

137. Stay Awake (Radio Edit) - Example (+4 in albums)

174. You Need Me, I Don't Need You - Ed Sheeran (+2 in albums)

211. Make You Mine - Talay Riley (+84 in albums)

946. The Only Hope for Me Is You - My Chemical Romance

I'd love to see 'I Wanna Go' do well somehow, I believe it to be one of her best songs ever and she's had some utter shit make the top 10. *cough* Boys *cough* Not A Girl *cough* 3 etc.

Wow. So Cover Drive don't look like they'll "do a Six-D"... I'm really split with the song. Sometimes I find it enjoyable, other times I find it complete Trash.

well, Cover Drive could go top 10 then :o although it could be very front-loaded, can't call it between Example and Ed yet, this is gonna be pretty close

I presume the high start for Cover Drive is just pre-orders? Looking like Example for number 1 atm, though ofc it's FAR too early to tell and Ed could overtake. Shocked to see Talay Riley enter (relatively) highly, didn't think there was any hype for it  Can't say I'm shocked for Belle Amie though, I checked CompareMyRadio and saw it had only had 2 plays  I know the site's not entirely accurate but it doesn't look good for them!
I think Example will get #1, I want Ed too tho, It will be close! Abit like Cheryl Cole - Promise This & Rihanna - Only Girl!

Liam  Am sure you said last week Belle Amie is a surefire #1  :o :o haha :P

Belle Amie ARE a surefire #1... in the Belle Amie only chart.

I had to endure seeing them live at G-A-Y late last year, thankfully I was drunk enough for it not to be too harrowing an experience.

same here. it's funny really, my favourite songs by britney don't really seem to do well ('break the ice', 'circus' and now 'I wanna go') whereas everyone else's favourites tend to do quite well in the chart. I still don't get the love for 'toxic' at all.

LOL. I see their new song on smash hits a few times. it's really poor.

well it looks like I may be wrong about cover drive. ah well. I just hope it does a 'naturally' or something.

i personally think olly murs will get a second week at the top overall....although the spate of no1s and held back songs releases this summers has been poor for the charts imo, weekly new no1s are becoming ridiculous now!!
It's already top 10 without a video, and it's probably going to outlast most the songs released in the next two weeks that look to be going top 10. So I'm disagreeing with you :P

But T10 on iTunes is not the same as T10 overall, that's my point - on the last mids, it was #12 at highest. Also, videos don't usually make much of a difference when the song is far from the first from the album (even MJ's Thriller only reached #10...)

Ed Sheeran did not release an acoustic version of his song eventually? it's much better than the video clip one.
