Suprised neither Example or Ed are top five yet.

Yep, Olly was #5 at 11:30 and #1 at 13:00 (Calvin was #5)

Who else thinks that You need me should of been a on air/on sale release?

No, I don't think it would've been sensible in this situation, since the song had its radio premiere in 2009.

It was actually on iTunes since 2009, and with Ed Sheeran's raising profile, it managed to chart at #140 (officially) back in May (the same week Hair by Lady Gaga got released), before getting deleted and held back. See here: http://www.zobbel.de/cluk/110528cluk.txt

If it had been left on air, on sale, I don't think it would've been a #1 contender ever, and it could've been overshadowed by, or overshadowed The A Team. Or it would just be hanging around the bottom of the top 300 like a lot of his other older songs are doing, and he would be releasing something different as a single atm.

I love the Rizzle Kicks version of 'You Need Me' too! I really hope Ed Sheeran gets #1 over that Example song.

The arguements comments on that music video are worth checking out aswell.

Example & Ed are going abit slow aint they? :\ I thought one of them would of been #1 by now!
knew olly would get 2 weeks at no1, was only held back for 3/4 weeks so is still quite fresh and examples and eds songs have been held for ages and arent as good as their debuts.....maybe teach uk artists they shouldn't be held back so long!!

Wow, 4pm and neither are top three. However they are both definately higher with their combined versions (but they'll drop it as time goes on).

And Sunday is the biggest day for sales, too.

hoping for good updates for

belle amie

cover drive

and britney <3

I'm surprised Example isn't near the top yet. Can a second week at number one for Olly still be on the cards?

Judging from iTunes, Maroon 5 are going to have a fair bit of longevity with their latest single. I wouldn't be at all surprised if it ends up overtaking Olly Murs at some point this week. I'm sure Example and Ed Sheeran will have overtaken before then though.
Oh my days, I've watched 'No Regrets' 12 times in the last hour and a half. Music channels are whoring it out sooooo much!
