To me, Example is just a poor man's Calvin Harris with added (and usually not very good) rapping.

Calvin Harris has more talent in his little finger.

Example appeals to the chavs though so he is selling a lot of records.

I'm not a chav - but whatever floats your generalised boat :P

IMO Calvin started off ok - peaked on the last album (RFTW) and this new stuff is OK but nothing great

I think both Example and Calvin are really good, but can be a bit hit and miss. Stay Awake is nowhere near as good as the previous single but is still in my top 5 number ones of the year, though that's mainly down to how weak the rest are as opposed to how good it is. I think Bounce is brilliant though, his best after I'm Not Alone, Kelis' vocals really suit the song well.

As for Example, I don't think he'll do anything as good as his top 3 of Me and Mandy, Watch The Sun Come Up and Kickstarts.

erm...Patronising much?

Example & Calvin Harris are both the frontrunners of their genre right now, Stay Awake isn't as good as CTWYKM (although I think my favourite of him is still Watch the Sun Come Up oddly) but still great, I think mainly for the lyric 'Did we take it too far? Did we chase the rabbit into Wonderland?' I dunno, I just really like that :D

I think Calvin peaked in 2009 with I'm Not Alone if I'm being honest, but Bounce and Feels So Close are both great as well

Watch The Sun Come Up, Won't Go Quietly and Kickstarts remain his best, especially WTSCU - I agree with the general opinion it's still his best. He'll probably never top it tbh, such a euphoric anthem!

I haven't been called a chav often - and Example is one of my favourite artists. But, yeah, sure.

Only chavs buy Cover Drive too... And I guess I'll assume only twats buy Party Rock Anthem just because I don't like that...

Some of you seem to be getting confused...I see no part in titty's post that says only chavs buy Example's music.

He purely says that his music appeals to them, which is true.

What would be the point in saying that though if not to aggravate people who like Example? I don't see what relevance 'chavs' have to the discussion, it just looked to me like titty was generalising and calling everyone chavs just because they like someone he doesn't like

Why is Beyonce's LOT so high? :o

Must just be all the talk of her pregnancy and VMA performance over in the US i guess, and it was shown on british TV last night right?
