The paper/stationery decision was over a month ago!

Obviously something else happened over the last week, which culminated into today's outburst....and if she won an appeal at the High Court today...good luck 4.0 at trying to over turn it lol! = HIGHLY UNLIKELY!

I like to be prepared. You never know what's going to happen. You could be on holiday in Japan or somewhere and lose one in a toilet.

I'd wait to get home and audition replacement pens while secretly hiding the other two in the next room with a hidden camera.

I like your idea better! I shall tweet/facebook Mutya later and ask for three of her finest Sugababes pens in three diffrent colours!

Really? What's the point though seriously. Not like she's going to do anything with it is it? I suppose it's the only way she'll get any form of publicity nowadays though, unless she did a Wino.
Does this mean the Sugababes stationary we were all looking forward to isn't happening? DAMMIT MUTYA. RUINING EVERYTHING.

HA.

That is all.

From the Sugas:

Heidi, Amelle and Jade would like to reassure their fans that it's business as usual for Sugababes.

A spokesperson for the band commented,

"Further to ongoing media speculation and mis-reporting of the facts by various sources, we would like to clarify the following;

Over 4 months ago (21st April 2011) it was officially confirmed by the European Trade Marks Department that Sugababes were successful in claiming their ongoing right to use the name "Sugababes" for all areas of commercial activity that the band requires, namely within the music, sound recording and entertainment industry, as well as being granted extensive rights to produce a wide range of merchandise."

The trade mark rights for Class 16 (excluding those items which are already covered by Sugababes merchandise, e.g. posters, stickers, etc.) include certain paper and cardboard goods, such as stationery, paper gift wrap and paper gift wrapping ribbons. This is a category that currently holds no commercial interest for the band and, accordingly, the band has no immediate plans to challenge Ms. Buena for these rights.

From Mutya's grasp of the English language it wouldn't surprise me if she thought winning the rights to stationary meant the Sugababes would be no more.

LMAO. How embarassing for MutMut.
Digital Spy article confirms that the Sugababes have said 'it's business as usual' :cheer:
 Falling record sales won't kill the SUgababes, but Mutya selling pencils may just be the END.

Only with Sugababes...

The only question from me is... WHY OF ALL GOODS SHE WON CARDBOARD AND STATIONERY?

All perfect material for the Suga movie, this is the shock ridiculous twist two thirds of the way through!

And now Mutya has the rights to Sugababes pencil toppers and rubbers the elusive film merchandise market has been blown wide open :w00t:

Does that mean when we all make banners for tours we have to pay Mutya now??

Grey area grey area!

LOL. Does she not understand that she has in essence LOST? Seemingly not from her Facebook statuses. I'm actually quite disappointed - I love me a bit of dramah.

Mutya's pencils would outsell Freedom 200-1 anyway

But yeah, AWKWARD.

I actually lost respect for Mutya over this - I really hope she didn't spend too much in legal fees. I can't really see Siobhan giving her permission to use her image on a lame ass sticker or paper doily (or whatever) (Keisha might). I wouldn't have told anyone if I was her!!

Still - would have been good for them to change their name - I never really understood why the current line up (which I do like btw) wanted to keep the name when there has always been so much negativity associated with the group.
