First song from her next album, single due out on 26/9

 

She has a great, & unusual voice. I loved her first album, so I really hope this charts high!

Think: 11-20

Want: Number 1

 

Due to the uber-commercial sound, I think it should do around about as well as Hollywood, maybe peak a bit lower. I can't see her having a hit though, but I suppose we'll have to wait and see about radio/TV support.

Really like the song though! Doesn't beat I Am Not a Robot though! :wub: I really want her to have a number one! I think this could actually debut Top 10, 8-10 though, and only spend one week Top 10.

I think this'll probably chart around 11-20, based on the first few listens. Probably 16-20 to be specific

 

As for "whare" I want it to chart, I wouldn't mind her getting a top 10 hit!

Her new sound does not suit her, I think she will go Top 20 and drop quickly.I hope she gets more support from Commercial radio this era.

It's actually out on the 3rd of October. I want it to be #1, but realistically I'm hoping for top 20. Maybe top 15.

Her first album had an original sound, this is just same old same old, and I think her voice has an element of 'Transvestite man'.

The song is a bit too derivative. It sounds decent enough but I would have expected better from Marina. Well, at least I would have liked more from Marina.

 

It will make the top 20 but won't hang around for long.

I agree, rarely do I prefer the follow up when the artist has changed their sound which made me like them in the first place! :P

Never liked her since that comment she made about being pissed off she wasn't more famous. It takes more work than an average album, with a shit lead single to be uberfamous, be thankful for what you've got. Now she turns to generic shit :D

Its not easily accessible from her previous material, its taking some time to click with me, not strong enough to enter my personal chart at the moment, the track goes cold towards the end.

No what I meant is that the first album, although I dont like her, atleast had an original element/ sound, where as already, you can see radioactive is just generic. Thats what I meant, she's gone down the road of trying to be more successful then doing what she enjoys.

And as someone said, the main reason I dont like her is because of her comments about being famous.

I think top 20, her comeback is bound to have at least some sort of effect, but I think it will drop quite fast afterwards

thing is, if you just churn out the same stuff album after album, it gets boring after a while and some of the time, aside from you're fanbase, interest wanes. Artists should make progression with their sound to capture new fans and stay relevant as opposed to being 'so *insert year here*'
