Moves Like Jagger could be this year's Rockstar/In For the Kill/Love the Way You Lie!! :o

Although I hope that doesn't happen, and it gets to #1.

I can't quite believe Christina ended up with the name Floptina after 1 bad album campaign. I knew it was awful but I always thought she's come back stronger one day (although I didn't see it happening like this!). Maroon 5 on the other hand, I never saw having a hit ever again.

Yeah. I'm loving her being at #1 on iTunes, because I felt people were being really harsh toward her last year, for no real reason imo. I can't understand how she became such a hate figure out of nowhere. Well, I know she's always been a controversial person, but last year she seemed more hated than ever before! For reasons I still don't fully get, although I think the media is to blame in this case, and the easily led people.

I think her next era will be really successful though. I read that she's due to release another album in 2012, and I hope she releases the lead single later on this year, to feed off the success of Moves Like Jagger. I think she could do better in 2012, as I think mainstream music will naturally be moving more into her territory again, if you know what I mean.

Fly Nicki Minaj ft Rihanna at #48, probably top 40 soon. Rihanna's part in this is great, she sounds fantastic!

Cheers shooting up now after a slow-ish start at #27 too.

So excited to hear Adele is performing tomorrow night on first show of Jonathan Ross, hopefully (better be! :heehee) performing Set Fire To The Rain, an epic performance is to come. Enough to shoot it top 10? Really, really hope so!

David Guetta doing so well, #1 on iTunes album chart and at numbers:

#11 - Turn Me On

#20 & #94 - Little Bad Girl

#33 - With Out You

#50 & #69 - Where Them Girls At

#64 - Crank It Up

#79 - Sweat (Snoop Dogg VS D Guetta)

#83- Repeat

#85 - Who's That Chick

#89 - Night Of Your Life

Anyone know when to expect Marry You (Bruno Mars) video & the Love On Top (Beyonce) video?

Moves Like Jagger doing so so well! It is really catchy and has great support on TV/Radio.

I'd love to see the ridiculous number of David Guetta songs that chart in the top 200 officially this week! It'd be cool if they did like they did in that Lady Gaga domination week on the chart show, where they play clips of all his songs which chart top 200 and announce their positions.

No, she is performing Rumour Has It.

Lol - when people thought Adele was going to be singing SLY she sung SFTTR and now people think SFTTR and she moves on to RHI :D

tbh though single sales are pretty irrelevant to her now as the album has sold so much - so she can afford to sing whatever from the album to promote it

This makes it even more likely that her next single will be Rumour Has It then (if she releases one). I was hoping for Turning Tables, personally.
It would be silly to have the next single be Rumour Has It. It's a great song but unless she rushes it out she'll have that as her single during Winter and it would be a shame to waste her X Factor slot on "rumour has it (rumour) rumour has it" X1000. Turning Tables would go down a storm on X Factor and be a smash. I'm all for Rumour Has It being a single but... Turning Tables first, please.
Turning Tables is also more different to Set Fire to the Rain than Rumour Has It. Like Turning Tables is more down-beat. It always reminded me of Unfaithful. So that's another reason why it should be the next single. I was saying once before, that she should alternate between up-tempo and ballads with her singles, and releasing Rumour Has It would ruin the pattern. :(

I think she might just sing album tracks to promote the album in the UK now. Her album has done brilliantly and I think another single wouldn't be as effective as singing various tracks depending on the show and performance.

I would say the pattern would be more like: Uptempo(ish), Slow, Mid-tempo

If she is releasing 'Rumour Has It', she would still be going along with this pattern.

Oh, I didn't realise Sean was top 10! The power of The Inbetweeners :o

Top 100 update (8pm positions) coming shortly. Possibly.

Someone who was at the recording of the Jonathan Ross show yesterday said Adele sang "Turning Tables" 3 times, until she was satisfied with how it sounded and then she sang "Someone Like You".

Oh. I was just going with what it said she had sung in the Adele forum on here.

Maroon 5 are 19% ahead of Example and they have another version at no.69. Surprise no.1??

Don't worry ;) The description of she show says she was going to sing "Rumour Has it". I can't find where I read she sang "Turning Tables" but I looked in one of her forums and I found this:

After break she sang Turning Tables, but she had to rush to go somewhere. But she came back and sang and it was incredible....goosebumps. But it was weird; she said she sorry in her words "f***ed up begininng" so she sang Turning Tables again which was sweet. When floor manager it was time to go; she knocked wind out of him and she was gonna sing Someone Like You for audience. I cheered and Adele waved bless her. After she sang Turning Tables, this floor manager wanted to clear up (looked like he was in a rush) til Adele just said "I'm gonna sing Someone Like You, I promised audience. She belted Someone Like You and she did have a bit of a cold but she sounded much better today.

I think the lead has happened too late in the week to catch up to Example but Maroon 5 may well overtake Ed Sheeran with tomorrows sales.

It does seem obvious that Maroon 5 will be outselling Example this time next week but with new releases from Leona and Pixie Lott mostly, the best Maroon 5 can ask for next week is yet another week stalling at #3.

So Maroon 5 don't have the moves like a #1 then it would seem... :( Sometime Moves Like Jagger are not enough! :P

Haha! That might be the best post I've seen all week :D
