I think it's 28 th for the Sugas

They pushed it back to the 25th because no1curr about them.

Im guessing leona's management wont be too worried as long as it makes top 5 in the UK which it will.

The charting in the UK for the sats and pixie is massive as thats where the vast majority of the sales will be recorded (and probably the only place they will chart), whereas leona will sell worldwide, for her label the UK is a nice addition to the sales but America and Europe as a whole is the target. If they can get that right through good promo (which it looks like they have done, i.e dancing with the stars, and the US xfactor) then it'll easily outsell both pixie and the sats.

And at the end of the day sales are the main thing that counts these days for the label and the artist, as unfortunate as that sounds.

I don't believe for a second that Cowel & co would be 'happy' with a Top 5 debut for a Leona come-back single. A Leona come-back single.

To be fair i think they'd be more then happy with a top 5 Leona single after it not being top 50 on radio and only one week of TV play.

Also look at Run The World, Collide is looking to get a better peak then that for sure, and look at Beyonce massive song straight after it with 'Best Thing I Never Had', so top 5 is brilliant to be honest, and the next 'lead' single could always get #1 :D

Also her label know she'll sell albums, and has shown she can sell a shit load of singles too :heehee: and nothing against Pixie or Sats but they wont really hit huge album sales, and won't make it worldwide.

Why has Waka Waka been hovering around for the past few weeks?

Why is This is The Life by Two Door Cinema Club in the top 200? Surely it's not being released as a single, they've mined that album far too much already. It's time to move on to some new material if you want a top 40 hit.

I disagree.

The only reason this hasn't done what it was supposed to do (.. get to #1.. although there is time left) was because of the court case with Avicii. Why else would radio 'boycott' a new come-back Leona single? I don't believe for a second again they wont play it just because it's more uptempo. The court case really has put this track in jeopardy.

Her label knows she'll sell albums? Really? She's sold albums yes, but this one, who knows? She's said herself her label are 'scared' about this album. And the likely hood of this album being huge off the back of (what looks like to be) an under-performing single does not look good on Leona who is supposed to be this global superstar.

And I don't see what Pixie and The Saturdays not being 'worldwide' acts has anything to do with this? It's just being spiteful on these boards and adding fuel for Pixie and Saturdays fans to "get their claws out". Pixie's debut album sold very well (over 700,000 coppies I believe?), I'd class that as a 'huge album seller' yes.

Its being used in a Debenhams TV ad (that was shown during last night's X Factor)

If they were bothered about the position, then surely they'd have made this the lead single into the album? It's a great song to lead the era with, but I don't think it'd have shifted lots of albums had it been performed on X Factor as the lead single for the album. From the sound of the reviews from The Guardian (who have heard a few of the tracks) they described one of the tracks...

soaring reverie over mournful piano and strings, called Blank Page. "I am a blaaaaaank page," she serenades, a soul-bending power lilt somewhere between Sinéad O'Connor and Barbra Streisand, "waiting for life to start." It might just do for Leona what Someone Like You has done for Adele.
IF that is true, wouldn't surprise me if that was the next single with the "Kate Bush meets Massive Attack" song ('Trouble') as 3rd. There are already people saying it looks likely to be 'Trouble', but after what TG have said, surely 'Blank Page' is the song to sell the album with the XF performance, no?
I disagree.

Thing is though the next single (ala Beyonce) will hopefully be even bigger, and I think it may be. Its a Leona album, it'll sell 600,000+ I'm sure :D We dont even know how big Collide will be yet so we have to wait and see, top 5, well if thats under-performing i'm sure everyone is happy at how high people hold Leona in their expectations

No, I think we can all agree Pixie and Sats wouldnt make it worldwide, and i like both Sats & Pixe, nice girls and all, but even fans would agree i'm sure.

I'd say so too Jonjo, but I've heard great things about Trouble too. I'm so curious whats next, just cant wait for the album!

Hopefully when I wake up in the morning Collide will be #5!

Quite the opposite. Im suprised they havent been playing in a lot considering the court case and the press its been getting.

Pixie Lott - All ABout Tonight - 1.000000

The Saturdays - All Fired Up - 0.958097

Maroon 5 - Moves Like Jagger (Studio Recording from the Voice Performance)- 0.906463

Example Download - Stay Awake (Radio Edit) - 0.531695

Olly Murs - Heart Skips a Beat (feat. Rizzle Kicks) - 0.528151

Avicii & Leona Lewis - Collide (Radio Edit) Download - 0.501491

Leona is very close to top #4 now, Pixie is starting to pull away aswell!

Thanks for those updates SwaggerCher, so once Leona is #4 hopefully it can continue to keep climbing and as quite a big gap stabalise. Hopefully there is an advert for Collide too on the home page of iTunes tomorrow!

Someone Like You  #11 :o :o :o Could it go top 10 again? Or will it fall back before it can get there?

Set Fire To The Rain  #17

Rolling in the Deep still #34!

Turning Tables  #51

My top 4 from '21'.

"Pixie is starting to pull away" ? She's 'gained' 5% on The Sats at #2.

These LivePopBars % aren't completely accurate though as you have to take into account that The Saturdays are still climbing but beacuse their % is dropping it's being percieved that it's loosing popularity, which it isn't. It should only be used as a guide to see how much of a 'lead' there is inbetween each track (especially when you're comparing #1 and #2 positions)

Oh, groovy biscuits. Hopefully if it continues to be used it'll get the band another deserved top 75 hit. Still hoping for some new stuff though.

5% Really isin't that bad considering Pixie's promo Red or black, It's still all up in the air If Pixie's still over 5% ahead tomorrow, it should be over for Saturdays. I hope Saturdays push for last minute promotion to ensure another top 3 single, but physicals and other versions keep Saturdays hopes going for a while.
