What nasty bitter person you are! So because Leona won x factor doesn't deserve sucess! Leona is highly talented.

Take a chill pill

91. Neva Soft - Ms. Dynamite

Snow Partrol seems to have disappeared?

Nope, you're just not looking hard enough :P They're #57.

Avicii & Leona Lewis, ain't that meant to be the other way round

It is but iTunes often lists collaborations the wrong way round, I think they are automatically added with the artists in alphabetical order and occasionally changed later.

Surprised Pixie still hasn't overtaken The Saturdays but I'm sure she still will. I do want The Sats to get #1 though as it's the better song. Leona not doing brilliantly at the moment but I'm sure she'll still go top 5 too.

The Sats always start off strong and fade as the week goes on. I'm suprised Leona isn't higher yet but then again its not even 1pm yet

To be fair though if Leona & Pixie had also put their single as pre-order both would most probably be top 5 too, but they have the EPs where Saturdays dont (well I think they do now as they've just been added).

Run  #165  Like Make You Feel My Love for Adele Run just always goes up when Leona does any promotion. :heehee:

For a song that isn't even top 50 on radio airplay, 'Collide' is doing brilliantly so far. At first I thought 'Collide' would definitely go to #1 but after the court case drama, a lukewarm radio response and a late video, no wonder my expectations dropped.

For someone who's been everywhere with their new song, I'm surprised Pixie isn't higher tbh. I'm sure the Sats will be highly frontloaded a la 'Missing You'.

Also, I don't see how the Sats *deserve* a #1 just because they are yet to reach the top spot with a single. Out of the three contenders (four including M5/Xtina), they deserve a #1 the least because that's all they seem to care about. Didn't they cry on their TV show when MY missed #1?

I imagine Pixie Lott will be ahead of the Sats tonight after her performance on ROB, as she is already top 10.

I hope The Sats don't get number 1 with this single. It's ok but it's not one of their better singles IMO. Leona has grown on me actually so wouldn't mind seeing that no.1 and with Pixie, yeah it's not her best either but It's a great pop/club tune and hope she does well. So therefore I'm thrilled at them all (Leona a bit slow mind you but I'm sure she'll catch up).

Pleased to see Snow Patrol on the rise too. Great comeback, nice to see a change in direction for this and has paid off IMO. Not their best either though but a great comeback IMO. :D

Glad to see Jealousy holding up ok :o

Oh and I don't mind if M5 are number 1 this week either.

No, they didn't. They cried when it was announced they were #1 in the midweeks.

And why is it a problem if they care about getting a #1 so much? Surely that's a good thing? Some artists just release singles and don't bother promoting it or even care if it goes to #1, I think it's nice The Sats care so much about the charts and where their singles chart. Rochelle and Fankie have had five #2 singles (three with S Club 8) and The Sats have had multiple songs charting between #2 - #10 over the years, I think they're due a #1.

Avicii & Leona Lewis, ain't that meant to be the other way round

I think iTunes have just done it alphabetically. I've just deleted his name off the song, on my iTunes. :kink:

I'm really glad it looks like The Saturdays might be getting their first #1, but I'm annoyed that it's with a song that isn't near their best for me. I hope Leona climbs soon, easily my favourite of this week's chart battle.
woo Leona is up to #14 now :D Pixie and Sats both Top 5

I don't think Pixie or Sats will be able to make up the ground on Maroon 5, which is still in it's infancy, then to build up a lead. I honestly cannot see it.

I hope Leona gets in the top 3, i like the song more so than Pixie's or The Sats which is really poor considering they're recent songs. And just because they may not get a #1 single, doesn't mean they "deserve" one. Rihanna hasn't had a US #1 Billboard album, it doesn't mean no one should release an album that week so she should get it. If the song is good enough, it will get it imo.

Why are people so sure that Pixie Lott will get #1 after Red or Black tonight?

Leona was on it last night and look where it's got her..

It's not just the fact they haven't had one, it's more to do with the fact they've been releasing consistantly good material since their debut (Up, Ego, Higher, Work, Issues, Notorious...although I realise the latter two are very marmite) and they've been so close on so many occasions (Up was #2 on iTunes, Forever Is Over was #2, Just Can't Get Enough and Missing You were midweek #1's) and they DO work hard, they are always on every TV show possible promoting and doing radio tours and advertising the songs as much as they can. The fact artists like JLS get a #1 so easy with everything they release (they've had FIVE #1's) is an insult to The Sats who have released much better material yet have had to suffer much lower sales.

Why are people so sure that Pixie Lott will get #1 after Red or Black tonight?

I know. It got something like 7 million viewers, so it did get a decent number, but that was the first night so I would imagine the figures to drop a good bit tonight.

Because 'Collide' is a terrible song.

'AAT' already has a fantastic lead and I'm sure it will go #1 after Red or Black.

its still really early... far too early to know for sure what kinda order these songs are gonna chart... as people have mentioned there is the possibility of some front-loaded sales, dropping off mid-week, pixies promo tonight, and to be honest i dont think leonas promo from last night has kicked in just yet, seeing as the single wasnt available at the time of the performance, its effect may be a stable climb rather than a single boost? just a possibility... good luck to all of them tho... kinda upsetting reading some negative 'hope xxx flops' comments... personally i cant take any satisfaction in other peoples failure (even if it was to involve simon 'smug' cowell) :-P
