Er, no. Taking a look at it that top five is horrendous, I'd struggle to say a kind word about any of those songs I think  Goodies and Wires are ok, Tumble & Fall is boring, the Elvis song is awful and I've never been a fan of Galvanize :drama:

I'd like to at least love *one* of the songs to actually want to write the feature!

Okay, I'd be satisfied on a passage of the #5 of that week only. Tumble & Fall is not boring, you just haven't seen the light yet Richard. :P

Feeder have had far better songs which I could easily write a passage about! Maybe I'll do the week where Buck Rogers was #5 instead :P

Anyway, are you Marcus in disguise? :o

Damn, you've got me! Feel free to, they're the only time they've had a sniff at the Top 5. :(

I just saw my next entry posted on one of the pop music blogs I believe at least a handful of people in here follow. I don't think anyone has said anything about it though, but the fact it got blogged about on that particular site did take away the discovery aspect of it for me. It may even be Popjustice song of the day eventually too. I really like the song, but I'm not sure if I wanna send it now, makes me feel all cheap inside :( But given I manage to confirm it first, should I send it? The artist in question has just started on a solo career and has never released any solo material before and isn't that well known yet. I wonder if I'm too strict about this though..

It does sound like you're being a bit strict.

Doesn't sound too cheap to me, I've sent a few Popjustice Song's Of The Day before, I doubt there are THAT many people on here that check them every day. A ton of my entries come from blogs that a lot of people here follow, doesn't necessarily mean that we all have time to check every song posted on them, I know I don't! The mods will decide if it's worthy of a veto anyway so we don't have to worry anymore :D

2005-2006 = HORRIBLE pop years.

I agree, looking back at the charts, the songs were dreadful :puke2:

That eased my mind. I guess you're right, I should try and not be that strict anymore, I just want it to be a minimum of people knowing my entry.

But even though some have heard the song by the time the competition starts or even if it becomes a Song of the day, then still it will at least be a discovery for most people in here. A good entry can't stay in the closet for too long these days anyway :P

Am I right in thinking that Confirmation opens in 2 hours?

That is correct. I am currently trying to sort out the conformation thread write up. Just so it makes sence, and then am going to empty my inbox :D

8 minutes, am I right that once it's 12 midnight I get to send my entry in whether or not the thread is open?

I think it's considered polite to wait until the thread opens

I think you need to wait for the thread to open, tbh. It shouldn't be too long after midnight, if the time's correct.

Oh I see, my bad :P

I got my entry all sorted now, hopefully i'll do better than last time :cheer:

Whoa, I thought confirmation was opening tomorrow? Confirmed anyway, but I'll be vv annoyed if someone's taken my entry.

Those who literally stay online until gone midnight to confirm their entry make me :D !!!

Anyways, I'm in two minds with regards to what I'm sending. The deciding factor will come down to which nations decide to take part this time. Loads of pop nations and I'll opt for ** song A **, more indie type nations enter and I shall opt for ** song B **
