Seriously though, actually, a quick glance at the top 100, and there's not that many "swag" artists in there. :( Well, not as many as I'd like anyway.

It's ok, Cassie's making her big comeback soon!! Eeee.

1 One Direction What Makes You Beautiful 1.000000

2 Maroon 5 Moves Like Jagger (Studio Recording from the Voice Performance) 0.432086

3 Pixie Lott All About Tonight 0.312542

4 The Saturdays All Fired Up 0.223479

5 Olly Murs Heart Skips a Beat (feat. Rizzle Kicks) 0.201877

Pixie only 9% ahead of The Sats now, I expect they'll be #3 later on tonight possibly.

What you've stated is incorrect.

Pixie is 39.85% ahead of The Saturdays [(0.312542 / 0.223479) - 1] * 100

0.223479 divided by 0.312542 = 0.715036699

1-0.715036699 = 0.284963301

You've gone the other way, ie, the statement becomes 'The Saturdays are 28.49% behind Pixie'.

Having listened to Gucci Gucci, Kreayshawn appears to be a mildly more authentic version of Cher Lloyd. Not a good thing.
She's sooooooo hot too!

Indeed! The 'Me & U' video...wow.

Actually no... It should be said like the difference between the two is 28% of Pixie (what Pixie sells) or of 40% of Sats.

These two could be used to find the sales if they report the difference between them ;)

I guess we will get some info about the super-heave sales of 1D so we will be able 'estimate' the rest.

Interesting.. the One Direction CD single was released in HMV today and is very prominently displayed in my local.. in about 3 places plus on the counter. Wonder how many they will shift

No, my statement is correct :P

I LOVE that song!! I never watched the video before though...until now. :D She's so beautiful. In the words of Snoop Dogg, I wanna get her wet.

I hope it goes top 40 at least. Just because. Both the song and the Kreayshawn seem to divide opinion somewhat though. I heard in a song that she's racist! :o

can't say I wasn't expecting to see One Direction at number 1 with a huge lead when I woke up  I guess this is another week where it isn't necessarily about what's gonna be number 1, but just big they're sales will be

apart from that, an utterly dead week, Kasabian and The Kooks aren't doing so well :( could be another top 20 hit for Noel Gallagher though!

:o

I hoped the Kasabian would do a 'Radioactive'. Why are they so low?

(btw the problem with your statement is % of what? it is like using meters and feet)

I know, they are doing HMV signing of the single all over Britain.. it feels like we are back in 2004. Loads of the girls from my school went early this morning to que outside HMV as they are in the HMV in the centre of Glasgow today, selling and signing all the CD's. I think they will shift an awful lot of physicals actually, I have seen pictures of the que on Facebook and it looks massive.

I am shocked to see One Direction so far ahead - after only 16 hours; and that's not even taking into account the EP sales. With 'Na Na Na' at #39, I wonder if a second T40 debut is possible - it'd certainly be quite amusing.
I think it has had a lot of support. I mean, I know Radio 2 and Heart FM aren't playing it, but Capital, one of the most important radio stations for the charts, has been playing it a lot. And Radio 1 have surely played it aswell. And then add to the fact that on the Internety EVERYBODY talks about her non-stop seemingly, so people who use the web will know the song aswell. Not sure about MTV though. Perhaps people just don't like the song?

I think it's good though. It has a very catchy melody at least. And I'd like to see will.i.am back in the charts aswell, even though he didn't make this beat.

No idea where you're getting this from. They can't be playing it that much considering it isn't even in the top 100 on radio airplay.

I wonder if that Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds song will peak as high as TDOYAM. Does it have physicals?

Not until 17th October

wow kasabian not doing great!!

thought it would have been top 10!!

No it didn't, FFTL didn't get to number 1 until about 6pm actually. Its lead over Alexandra wasn't even that big until she performed either. (I remember it well, I'm a Cheryl loon and I was on holiday - my friend text me at about 3pm saying it was number 3 on iTunes and I was horrified  )

mmmm no, I just checked the iTunes thread and she was number 1 by 12:00pm and she nearly doubled Alexandra before FFTL was performed on X Factor...
