Has good life already been released? I don't think it has? Even if so, there's a B.o.B. remix that's being released that I imagine will be the version promoted/given airplay.

I agree with Bre it could be a top 10, it's really good and very UK friendly.

Hate to be pedantic, Skyscraper hasn't even gotten a release yet (shitty record company :drama:) :P But yeah, it'll flop anyway :( Even if deserves weeks at number 1!

 

When it was #1 on US iTunes there was a fake version of it in the top 300 on our iTunes. I think there was demand for it, but the moment is kind of over now (although it's climbing back up their iTunes now, so maybe not! :o).

'Bottoms Up' should've been MASSIVE. I think if it was released now it would do pretty well as Nicki's profile has been increased by ridiculous amounts since its release. Look at how well 'Turn Me On' is doing...and that is absolutely shite!

I'm sure I saw the B.o.B remix on iTunes a few weeks back? Maybe not. Even so I doubt it'll chart here, OneRepublic are over in the UK (although of course this year has proven time and time again that seemingly dead chart acts can easily be revived with the right song).

 

I'd be EXTREMELY surprised if Stereo Hearts fails to go at least top 5 and it could be a #1 contender depending on when they release it. It's not as good as their 3 previous chart hits but still good and like I say I want it to do well even if only to ensure the follow-up which will almost certainly be better will get attention here as well. Then again 'Billionaire' couldn't do that and it was massive so maybe not.

If you hope it is (and you probably will think it is because you don't like the featured singer) you should say that but unless you have any actual facts to back that up (even then it will only be an opinion) that sentence is conjecture.

Because I love Gym Class Heroes and hate Adam Levine. 'Stereo Hearts' would be up there with the other 3 if it didn't have Adam's annoying voice dragging it down (yes T Boy, I am bashing Maroon 5 again, I apologise but this is in direct response to someone else's comment which I'd like to respond to but can't without saying this again). Unless the song is poor by their standards I'll like it more than SH. I did say 'almost certainly' instead of 'definitely' because I'm allowing for the possibility it will be poor by their standards. I just doubt that as I've absolutely loved everything I've heard by them so far and 'Billionaire' which may as well be a GCH song. When an act has such a good hit rate with me it's fair to assume I'll probably like almost everything they release (and the same vice versa - I may suddenly really like Maroon 5's next single but it's highly unlikely)

This is correct but I'm not biased enough to hate Stereo Hearts just because of its feature - it would just be far better if it had a less annoying featured vocalist is all. I do still like it. :P

It's ok. It was just the way you said it in the sense it was pretty much fact. A better expression would have been almost certainly in your opinion or something like that compared to Stereo Hearts. I can see the understanding where you don't like a track from a favourite artist so you have high hopes for the follow up.

 

Speaking of when Stereo Hearts is released, the same week Matt Cardle and Kelly Clarkson are out. I particularly don't like Matt Cardle's new track which is surprising because it is written by Gary Barlow. It may grow on me but I cannot see that style of music as a lead single (not counting 'When We Collid') doing anything amazing for him. I wouldn't be surprised if it goes #1 but I'm hoping for a Joe McElderry like debut.

 

I don't mind Maroon 5 but Bre has a point, Adam's voice sounds so annoying on SH :( It's a really good track, it'd move up to great without him though!
