To be honest, I'm not really familiar with the characteristics of what makes a rock song. For RnB and hip hop songs you can judge them just by the tempos, instruments and percussion patterns, but for rock music I don't have a clue. :lol:

 

But I've said Coldplay songs are rock songs before, and I get responses like "lol no, they're pop", or "If they're rock artists, then rock music is finally dead". So I just don't really comment on them now. :lol: But whatever they are, they're probably the only artists offering something a bit different to the top 10 atm.

It's crazy how that version of Black and Yellow got so high (almost went top 20 on iTunes iirc), and then when the original version got released it *only* went to #4 or #5 I think. It still ended up as a massive hit though, so it was all good. B-)

If I were Sak Noel's record company, I'd release Loca People tomorrow. But I guess it has to wait a week... :drama: Anyway, he has more chance next week (25/09/11) of number one because I imagine Dappy will get higher 1st week sales

Well, he's not going to sing jealousy, so I doubt it will impact on the single. He's going to sing an album track, Hearts on Fire, which I love, but took a few listens. I'm surprised they didn't go with Silent Valentine, which is much more instant. Maybe they want to keep that a secret for the moment though.

Really? :o He should of definitely have sung Jealousy would of been a great boost, well even if he doesnt his appearance on the show will have a positive impact on everything Young related like any big use of promotion normally.

 

Loca People are going to do really well, especially with uni starting, however most uni students/teenagers do download illegally so the number of illegal downloads are going to be mahoosive let alone the legal downloads. :lol:

 

I really think Dappy is going to go straight to #1 now then. Rather Maroon 5 finally get there.

Marry You isn't far out of the top 100 in the US now, so I think it's starting to be promoted there, which means we should get a music video for it soon.
