Iris was just WAITING for any sort of exposure good or bad tbh  it got to the Itunes top 100 earlier in the year after being played for about five minutes on BGT, and it randomly re-entered just a few days ago

Hopefully Iris will finaly go top 10, i have always loved the song so am delighted it doing well on the back of x factor.

Lighters by bad meets evil and bruno mars has grown so much on me lately and i hope it goes top 10 this week,,,, and finally could maroon 5 finally get that well deserved number 1 this week?

Have you not seen how high Sak Noel's different versions are, that will have him ahead of Maroon 5, combined?

Currently

01. Maroon 5 - Moves Like Jagger 100%

02. Dappy - No Regrets 79.9%

03. Go Goo Dolls - Iris 77.4% (This is going higher than Cannonball ever did, Should go top 5 this week :o ) (Another Version at #60 5.9% meaning combined it is 83.3%)

04. One Direction - What Makes You Beautiful 70.1%

05. James Morrison - I Wont Let You Go 57.7%

06. Jason Derulo - It Girl 57.5%

07. Sak Noel - Loca People 54.8% (Version at #54 6.6% & #23 17.4&) Combined Is 78.8% But with everything combined should be around #02

08. Pixie Lott - All About Tonight 43.6% I see this remaining at around #6 this week with James Morrison & Jason Derulo dropping below her)

44. The Script - Breakeven

45. Lady Gaga - Edge Of Glory

I hope this is the wekk Maroon 5 get their long deserved No 1. COME ON MY BEAUTIES!!
Shame it'll be with one of their weakest singles to date! :nocheer:

Agreed. ^_^

Loca People is underperforming, I thought the song would explode once it hits iTunes..

I can't believe Frankie is responsible for Iris chart success.

He is very overrated. Plus, I hate his hair.

'We Found Love' is going to be HUGE! Deservedly so, too!

'Iris' SO close to number 1, combined :o

We're back!

I assume Iris was covered on XF - that's the only *possible* explanation for it being so high, suddenly?

"Iris" was not that good in the X factor... that was weird, but it's a classic song so maybe just because of it and not because of the contender itself.
26 is much too low a peak for Iris. Good to see it climb back up but hopefully it doesn't stick around for too long like Fast Car and MYFML

I'm more peeved that the highest charting version of the song is by ruddy Ronan Keating, so I'll be glad if this goes higherthan 16.

Shame it'll be with one of their weakest singles to date! :nocheer:

No way Jonjo, its sales and chart run reflect the fact that it's the best thing they've done by a country mile :P

Anyway, I do hope it's not going to be thwarted for a FIFTH time now. I'd sort of been expecting something to come out of nowhere on X Factor yesterday to take away their chance, it seems that fate has Moves Like Jagger pencilled in to never be a #1 :drama: Will be very interesting to see how Iris holds up...if Heart etc... get back on board with it (I'm sure they play it occasionally anyway) then it could actually stick around for a bit! Also I found out the other day that Frankie Cocozza went to my high school :o

6 More weeks till We Found Love hits UK iTunes! Def Jam should of released it yesterday with a front page banner, it would of went #1. Its obviously still going to get #1 once it is released but they didn't need to repress it that long.

The only advantage i see about it is that cheers should be nearly completely dead by the time Wfl is released.

La Musica :(

Goo Goo Dolls #2 wow, my guess the track is going to trail off though later off in the week, surprised at Loca People underperforming, Maroon 5 could get there next week :D after stumbling for the past 5 weeks.
