LMFAO  20, this has risen quickly!

Also, although the 59p effect hasn't helped Nicole get a new peak with Wet, it definitely has helped her to keep steady in the top 30 for the last couple of weeks, if it was full price it would most likely to be in the 40s/50s which was where it was heading before the reduction

I heard Sexy and I Know It at lunch time on Radio 1 in a Newagents near where I work. They hyped it up LOADS on there (they interviewed LMFAO and the presenter (Greg James is it?) was sucking up to them, being all like "Oh, well Party Rock Anthem is clearly song of the year, let's be honest"). Perhaps that's why it has risen so fast today. It was so hot and sunny at the time, so it sounded pretty amazing.

Tragedy certainly seemed like their biggest song to me tbh. And it's the song people always mention whenever Steps crops up in a conversation.

One of the Manic Street Preachers songs from last year sounded like Stomp to me, which I found quite amusing.

Just heard Kelly Rowland's next single (ft. Big Sean) on the radio!!! :w00t: Wow. I absolutely LOVE it. I can already tell I'm going to be listening to this song a lot. It's very What's My Name?/Right There, except the beat is based around a piano. Really uplifting. Can't wait until she performs it on X Factor (hopefully). It's not in the top 1000 yet though. :(

Lay It On Me is not being released in the UK, this is Kelly Rowland's UK single:

Basically it rips off On The Floor rather than I'm Into You  Deffo a top 10 with the inevitable XF slot though.

Oh. :nocheer: Actually, I did hear Down for Whatever on Capital before, so you're probably right. :( I don't like it very much. It's not Kelly Rowland. That song could belong to anyone. It sounds like a Kat DeLuna/Pitbull mash-up.

It says in the video that it's produced by RedOne. NOT SURPRISED. It sounds like Dirty Dancer, She Makes Me Wanna, Scheisse and Papi aswell. :drama:

It'll probably be a hit though, especially with her being a judge on X Factor. Hopefully they release Lay it On Me afterwards. It's such a waste to give a song like that to Kelly if she won't even release it. Since I just heard it on the radio though, that probably means it's quite popular.

755. Jessie J - Who You Are - Apparently a music video for this has been premiered on MTV now.

850. It's the Way You Make Me Feel - Steps

I am pleased about this actually.. it's their best song BY FAR..

LMFAO  20, this has risen quickly!

Up to #19 now.

Daniel XF must be over the moon. ^_^

Eww. That LMFAO song is seriously one of the worst songs I have heard this year. It's absolutely terrible!

THIS.

I think I'd rather listen to PRA!

Heart Skips a Beat up to #7! :w00t:

Delilah up to #11. I hope she can get into the top 10! It's a great song. She was on the Radio 1 Review show yesterday.

James Morrison/Jessie J up to #64. This'll be massive in a few months I think.

Since U Been Gone at #66!

Hot in Herre by Nelly at #76! Love this song so much!

Dr. Dre at #89. I hope his next single can get in the top 40 when it's released. I heard Kush and I Need a Doctor won't be on his album anymore.

She Ain't You at #124! Great to see it doing so well already!

SOS by Rihanna is back. I assume it's 59p too.

Dreams by "Game" at #147. It seems they changed all his old songs from "The Game" to "Game" aswell.

Can't Get Enough by J Cole at #162. Wow. Well, he's clearly not going to get any top 100 hits from this album then...

I think Maroon 5 will get back to #1 today.

Edited by Eric_Blob

Maroon 5 should be back at number one around 4pm today.

Leona Lewis - Collide #29 (I think it has two more weeks left in the top 40)

Great to see LMFAO in the top 20  The song is great, just a shame the video is a bit... weird  Still I wonder why Chamange Showers was such a flop, but good to see them recover and more importantly they are going T10 in the USA

On a side issue, I have to smile at how they describe their 59p song selection : 'A selection of excellent titles hand-picked by the itunes team'.

Yeah, no kidding - picked out of a hat, judging by the randomness of the choices!

Most of them aren't *that* random. James Morrison, Gym Class Heroes and Kelly Clarkson have all just released or are just about to release new material and 'Into Dust' was already charting anyway from an advert. Some of them are random (Ocean Colour Scene, Boyz II Men) but most seem to be vaguely linked to recent events.

-x-

Maroon 5 have fallen a bit away from Iris again this morning, back down to 91.1% :D I still think they'll probably be back at #1 later today though.

Sak Noel is now at 95.9% of Iris combined. I think he may get to #1 combined if Maroon 5 don't pull away massively when they get back to #1.

"Marry The Night" has been confirmed as the next single from Gaga :cheer: It's truly incredible so i hope its massive.

It won't be released for a while yet, but can we just forget about Y&I and move on already!! :kink:

Gaga's on J Ross next week where i guess she will perform y&i but hopefully she is back to perform MTN on XFactor!
