I absolutely love it after just 1 listen, it took me a few to get into Only Girl (In The World) :wub: I really want her to get #1 and I think she will!! :D

Cant believe she's on her 6th Album and so young! She's going for some kind of record, she is an artist with such huge ambition, she wants to be the biggest pop star, so determined! At the rate she's going she could get there!

I wondered how long it'll be before someone posted this thread :lol: I put Top 5 & Top 10, not that great on first listen.

I've gone for top 5 as my gut instinct is that this will miss #1, possibly being an eighth #2 for her (and a third #2 for Calvin) only without the subsequent climb to #1 that Only Girl (In The World) and What's My Name? had.

(I do want it to be #1 though as Calvin deserves another #1 after Bounce and Feel So Close both annoyingly stalled at #2 - hopefully Calvin's third single will also be a #1, if it's released soon after WFL he could have two entries in the top 5/10 for at least a week!)

Number 1 for both, this AMAZING and continues her streak of singles not falling below a 9/10 for me, the last one to fall foul was Shut Up And Drive, an 8.5/10 for me :o

I'm not crazy about it on first listen :( Especially with all the Swagger Jagger sounds at points :( The cover is boring as hell :P Nevertheless, it will get to number one, espcially with an X Factor slot..

Want top 20. It isn't a good song, but I like Rihanna and don't want her to flop.

I like this but I wish it was better. The synth riff is pretty boring, the hook isn't up to much and there isn't a decent drop. Bounce and Feel So Close seem so much more sophisticated than this.

I don't see why her being Rihanna guarantees a #1 in any way. She only has five #1s and that includes one as a featured artist. Not even pre-album releases by her are guaranteed #1s - remember Russian Roulette?

Just because it's Rihanna doesn't mean it's a certain number 1, it depends when it's released really, if it's sometime this week like the US then it won't get to number 1 at least initially, there's only so high one play and a big name can get a song

 

I do rather like it though, the instrumental slightly more though

Ballads weren't really flavour of the month then though - 'We Found Love' is much more current, and the most surefire #1 I've heard for a while. I want it to be #1 as well as the fact that I know it will be.

Top 5 for both, I am rather disappointed by this though, she could so much better! :(

It will be #1 without a doubt, I don't want it to be, but it will be.

I like Rihanna, but I can't help feeling that she's rushing things a bit. 3 albums in 3 years? They've all been good, but with a bit more time I think she could have made 1 amazing album instead.

 

On first listen, We Found Love sounds a bit average for her, but I'm sure it will grow on me. I like Rihanna though so I hope it charts well!
