the top 3 was about what I expected, I think Sak Noel will just about hold on in the end as long as they don't stall on Itunes, I think Goo Goo Dolls could have a chance at staying number 2 as they're not holding up too badly atm, its nice to see Aerosmith top 40 as well, alas that will definitely fall out by Sunday

 

I didn't realise there was so many new album releases, 21 out of the top 5 :o will probably climb back in there by the weekend though

I know what you're saying and I don't feel the need to argue with anyone. It was a compliment if anything as I am happy Joe is selling as well as Will. Just thought the post about song-writing and "no comparison" was a little un-necessary as I hadn't put Will down in any way as far as I could see.

 

Actually Joe hasn't sold as well as Will to date, he's several thousand behind at the moment, but don't that let that stop you, I'm sure it won't!

You might not like it, but alot of other people do and Joe has proved himself. It shows more of him as an artist actually the ability he has to sell with this album. And the album is really really really good.

 

Great job to Joe I say! Some people if you look at the other thread didn't give him any credit when it really wasn't his fault but awful Syco. So he has proven himself and happy for him! He deserves it with all that has happened to him.

If you read what I said originally I said he was "closing the gap" and has sold better the last few weeks. I'm not rising to this, sorry :) Feel free to let Joe doing ok get to you. Will doing well doesn't get to me, I like him :)

Why should I be happy for him...I'm not a fan and I don't know him :wacko: I said I preferred Will to be in a lower position with a fantastic album of mostly self penned material than in a higher position with an album of done to death covers. Maybe Joe's fans should concentrate on Joe's success and stop comparing his chart position with other artistes.

I can see now what Val4jan is saying. Some people just like putting people down even though there is nothing to put down on. They like negativity even though there is nothing to be negative about. Well, great job for Joe to have proven people like you wrong with his success. It truly is a great album and glad it shows that with his sales and chart position.

 

Also, Tony Bennett must be shit* then for doing a cover album. As well as Adele with her covers and Whitney Houston's covers, The Beatle's covers. Andrea Bocelli's covers as well as Mariah Carey to name just a few. These are the worst artists alive. :rolleyes:

Seriously? What is my agenda then please enlighten me? Everyone has a right to post their opinions here and there are many people who are quite clear about their favourite artists and opinions. I posted 2 lines today which were very inoffensive & wouldn't have bothered posting anything else today but for a load of over-reaction here from some very insecure Will Youngs fans. I'm not quite sure what it has to do with you why I joined the forum and what I have said that has irritated you but to be honest with your attitude I don't particularly care.

Actually yes I am. I've been reading these forums for years and finally decided to join. Didn't plan "arguing" with anyone. Didn't realise when I joined that some people think they have more right to an opinion than others though. Funny my comments about S Club 7 on another thread didn't provoke so much reaction :)

I think that what Bre was saying is that you're only posting in the chart forum because Will/Joe is currently in the chart, otherwise you just hide out in the artist forums talking about the most pointless irrelevant things. So therefore you aren't 'proper' posters as you are very narrow-minded and only talk about certain artists (same goes to all of those AF trolls). Surely you must have some other artists that you like?!
