I detect sarcasm.

Yes you are :D

Shall we agree to disagree on Sweetbox?

Such bitchyness in the hausssss tonight. :o

I'm not liking all the Same Difference discussion, it'll probably do a Mira Craig and somehow flop into 30th... :P Hoping for Top 20 though. :D

At least it made the final, something Headhunted can never claimed to have done  30th would be impressive though considering that there are 29 finalists!

With regard to the whole debate going on this evening, yes it's been more pop recently and it's a bit of a shame to lose the variety I guess but BJSC has always been more of a pop contest, just as Unknown Pleasures is more dominated by anything but pop. Indie has all but disappeared due to the loss of a few key players of the indie bloc, and then some of the remaining ones (BaNG - although they're not here this month, Kylienips and PRoJ) all going down different routes in the past few months.

It would be pretty hard for it to flop into 30th place... With 29 countries in the final and all :D

I AM very much expecting to finish on nil poi.

I did say somehow flop into 30th. Implying that I could happen by some sort of (un)miracle.

I'm still waiting for the time when there is a rock/metal "voting block" in BJSC. :kink:

I'm not giving up hope!

On further thought, the IU song reminds me of music from a Super Mario game, any schlager anthem from Melodifestivalen and Serbia's Eurovision entry from this year - Nina's Caroban all thrown into a blender! I knew it wouldn't be long before I discovered an Asian pop song that I really loved via BJSC - well done Oricon, mission accomplished!

Daebak! Welcome to the fold :kink:

I agree Coldplay can be indie-pop (they seem to verge between a couple of genres depending on the song).

I will be voting soon, not even heard the SF2 songs yet!

Yesh, my next entry I think you will enjoy as well, as it has a ton of instruments on it and another side of k-pop :P

@sugabloke94, I bet I'm one of the cut out ones :(

Also credits to Liam, as he took my original entry and hence I used this backup :cheer:

EDIT: Daehun has voted, sorry for the 6 countries whom I had to leave out as they were close to being in my top 10. It was quite a tough vote :o

I have now added a link for my entry if anyone wants it, if they already have the other 28songs. The full final will be up later.
The full packed lunch is now available :kink:
I'm just putting my votes together and am now happy with my voting. I've actually found myself having to cut a couple of songs from my votes - I think the last time this happened was when I hosted BJSC XXXIIV. Very strong contest as long as you have a soft spot for unashamed European pop music.
I'll put my votes together tomorrow, it's quite hard!

I've somehow got myself down to a top 13. I CAN'T CUT ANY MORE!! It's too hard!

More on this later when I've listened to them all again.
