I really hope 'Earthquake' can get to #1, but the fact both the fake and the pre-order (43 compared to 67) are higher for 'Read All About It' isn't a positive sign. Hopefully Labrinth will get an XF slot this year. I still don't get why he didn't get one last year, you'd think Syco would use the biggest platform they have to promote one of their own acts
Actually combined Maroon 5 are about 44.4% although it's still not great I suppose.

I'm going to guess that Labrinth didn't want one, and therefore won't perform this year...

They also have to balance that out with getting the biggest possible acts to draw in the most viewers. Labrinth isn't exactly a big name. He might have a better chance this year, since Tinie Tempah is on the song, who might be big enough to warrant a slot on X Factor.

To be fair though, if it wasn't for the song being used on X Factor last week, Moves Like Jagger probably wouldn't even be in the running for #1. But yes, I think it being used again could help it get to #1, judging by the enourmous boost it got last time from being used on two TV shows.

I did think that but then I thought, why would he sign to Syco in the first place if he didn't want anything to do with the X Factor? Nothing was stopping him with saying 'f*** off' to them and going to one of the several other labels that wanted him.

They could get around Labrinth not being a big name by marketing his performance as 'the debut solo single from the producer of Pass Out and Frisky'.

In that clip show they do at the beginning I imagine they'll draw it out a lot and play all his singles (here's where I try and name them, and probably miss half of them out ) like Pass Out, Frisky, Wonderman, Finish Line, Let It Go, Neva Soft and Let the Sun Shine of course. If they're desperate they might play Do It Like a Dude aswell. And apparently he's producing that charity song, so they could include that aswell. They could make him seem like quite a hit-maker if they did all this!

He also produced 'Love Drunk' by Loick Essien and 'Dead End' by Master Shortie (which were both also top 100 hits). And of course they could play a clip of 'Earthquake' if they wanted to. :P

I think he was signed first and foremost as a producer, which is obviously his passion, giving he's released one single of his own since his signing (and obviously another is upcoming).

As if Marina is flopping. HOW? :(

Looks like FY won't even break the iTunes top 40, since it's already falling. Hopefully it'll be the only one to crack the official top 100 as well (although it wouldn't surprise me if Run The World (Girls) just snuck in as well). Coldplay to overtake Glee version soon please.

Maroon 5 up to ~44.1% now (second version ~1.6%). Hopefully they'll stay below 50% at least with the top version for the rest of tomorrow. This battle is going right to the wire.

I think Rihanna will be #1 now. Although I kind of wanted Maroon 5 to get it, since I really think it's their only chance this week (it feels weird saying this, since I've been saying it the other way around for the past 5 weeks ).

I just heard the new Jennifer Lopez/Mick Jagger song. It's going to be huge. Surefire #1 imo. Parts of it sound very generic, and other parts of it sound like Like a G6 to me. It's almost like 5 different songs merged into one really. Sounds such a mess, but I quite like it. Very current, it's one of those songs that has lots of different beats like Give Me Everything and Party Rock Anthem. And everybody is going to love it because it's like "lmao Mick Jagger, that guy Ke$ha and the Black Eyed Peas rap about". Some of the lyrics are ridiculous aswell. Goes absolutely crazy towards the end aswell.

Can't believe Sexy and I Know It is #3. I knew it would be bigger than Champagne Showers, but I wasn't expecting it to be THIS big! :o If Moves Like Jagger misses out, Sexy and I Know It as well as We Found Love are the only realy chances at getting a climber to #1 in the near future I think.

How would We Found Love be a climber if MLJ doesn't make no.1? Unless there's another new release we don't yet know about yet :P

Jennifer Lopez and Mick Jagger?

It's actually Will.I.AM, J-Lo & Mick Jagger (weird I know):

Oh yes. I was just being stupid.

Unless it had two runs at #1 I guess (like Just the Way You Are, Boom Boom Pow, etc.), in which case it would debut and climb to #1. I doubt that's going to happen though.

I didn't mention will.i.am because I don't want everybody on here to hate the song. :( I think it'll be a huge hit with the public. I was noticing that will.i.am hasn't really produced massive hits this year really, (in contrast to all the other years since 2003, e.g. OMG in 2010, Boom Boom Pow/Meet Me Halfway in 2009, American Boy in 2008, Big Girls Don't Cry in 2007 and so on), so maybe this will be it! Although Just Can't Get Enough is currently still in the YTD top 10 in the US, so I guess we can class that as a massive hit. :D

That makes even less sense.
