Deeper Shade Of Blue #319

It's The Way You Make Me Feel #337

One For Sorrow (Tony Moran Remix) #454

Summer Of Love #474 - definitely a song I never expected to see ever again in any sort of sales chart

Love's Got A Hold On My Heart #636

5,6,7,8 #710

Last Thing On My Mind #715

Stomp #838

and something completely unrelated for Hits;

Gotye feat Kimbra - Somebody That I Used To Know #709

I wonder if this will ever be made a single here? Interesting that it's showing up at all with zero promotion!

Gotye and Kimbra could be big, it's alternative enough for Radio 1 but still 'nice' enough for Radio 2 (and perhaps Heart?) They'd be stupid not to push it.

And OH GOD, if Cee-Lo gets top 10 after the XF performance I'll be so pissed off. He makes LMFAO seem appealing, at least they have a few good songs (their flops :P), he's just thoroughly awful.

I think it's a bit of a poor start in my opinion, Matt Cardle and Cee Loo Green, Matt Cardle is fair enough but You would think in order to bring in viewers they would bring in a mega star name. Everything produced by Cee Loo is horribile and I hope the songs flops.

To make Matters worse Black Eyed Peas are away to split

The Black Eyed Peas are preparing to announce that they have split, reports have suggested.

The group will allegedly release a statement to their fans later this week after they pulled out of their headline slot for this weekend's Michael Jackson tribute concert in Cardiff, Wales.

Despite confirming their indefinite hiatus in July, the four-piece were confirmed to play the Jackson gig just last month, as well as performing a free concert in New York City for charity last week.

A source told The Mirror: "Pulling out of this weekend's gig is the final curtain call for them - especially as they're all such huge Jacko fans.

"Things have been taking a turn for the worse over the past few months but this signals the end

Kanye West said, "rest in peace to the Black Eyed Peas. You're gonna be missed" during a concert in the US.

I like cee-lo green :) hopefully should be a good performance, rather him than rihanna.

Rihanna - We Found Love 100%

Maroon 5 - Moves Like Jagger 41.1%

Will Maroon 5 be knocked back down to #2? Unluckiest #2 of all time

Also, it's sad to hear that the BEPs have split. They went out with a massive era (The END), one of the biggest songs of all time (I Gotta Feeling) and a magnificent song (Meet Me Halfway) so it's a good way to stop. Sure, The Beginning era wasn't too great, but The END will remain a massive album and era. Goodbye, BEPs.

They had The Begining era after that  So they ended on a low tbh, Don't Stop The Party was crap and didn't do that well. Shame :(

I'm sure they'll be back. They did come back from their last hiatus, I see no reason why they'd stay split permanently this time around.

It's annoying that the mid update for today is a crap one (probably missing iTunes data) because it would have been good to know how well Rihanna charted on one day of sales, which could help determine her chances of getting to #1 this week.

Sad that the BEPS have split (again :drama:) but hopefully this means some solo material from Fergie and will.i.am  should be great

Black Eyed Peas split? How did I miss that :o

No huge loss, although I've loved 3 or 4 of their singles over the years...

Wikipedia says they've 'denied rumours of splitting'. Unless they've backed up on that and confirmed it now?
First REM split now BEPs :o, who's next Foo Fighters

Who are bigger now than they've arguably ever been? Doubt it.

Someone mentioned GaGa doing "You and I" on the X Factor on Sunday, I'd imagine that she'll be on at a later date doing "Marry the Night"?

:( I'd imagine Rihanna has #1 in the bag now. The ONLY chance Maroon 5 have now is if somebody performs Moves Like Jagger on X Factor, giving them a final push in the dying hours of Saturday. Otherwise, since Rihanna has now spent the best part of 24 hours selling twice as much as Maroon 5 surely it's a done deal even if they do manage to claw a little bit back.
The BEPs announced they were going on a hiatus a few months ago. I did mention it on here back then. Will.i.am has 2 solo albums, as well as Cheryl's next album coming up.

I think she's leaving London tomorrow, but not too sure. And fingers crossed she returns for MTN nearer Christmas, because its the perfect New Year's Eve song imo

Is Cheryl releasing a third album this year? I haven't heard anything about it, I thought she was taking a break and/or ending her solo career for the rumoured GA reunion next year.

Na she's in the studio and (fairly reliable) rumour has it it's a Q1/2 release with GA coming in Q4.

About the BEP, I'm happy. I'd love some new Fergie. I heard Glamorous on the radio a few days ago and it's still so good.
