I don't think it was.

They did sing Pink, but it was Nobody Knows - not WK  And NK is for some reason REALLY overused and never has much effect chartwise :(

Nobody Knows, Who Knew, SAME THING. (Why does she have two songs with almost identical titles?)

Who cares? They're bloody fantastic songs

 5. Sexy and I Know It - LMFAO

 16. Go - Delilah

:D at these.

20. Paradise - Coldplay

HOW is this holding up so well? (It is behind where ETIAW was at this point but that's only because of Glastonbury and the EP release of ETIAW)

 25. Radioactive - Marina & the Diamonds

:left: 26. Shake It Out - Florence + The Machine

Take her down Flo :D

 96. Takes One to Know One - You Me At Six

Has this been used somewhere? YM@6 are not an act I'd expect to see making the top 100 with a random album track without some form of external boost!

EDIT: Actually, I just noticed it's an iTunes bonus track, that'd make sense I guess as people may be downloading the bonus track and getting the rest of the album from a different download site (or physically).

 99. Strange Clouds (feat. Lil Wayne) - B.o.B

Doing much better than I thought it would. Lil Wayne clearly does have a bit of a committed fanbase here though or else '6 Foot 7 Foot' and 'She Will' wouldn't have charted.

BTW, have you ever wondered if you hearing was going, only to find out it was just a dodgy iPod earpiece?
I think the reason Paradise is holding up so well is just the quality of the song. I heard it on the radio this morning about a month after it premiered and it still sounds great.

The quality of the song didn't stop ETIAW from dropping straight out of the top 40 after 2 weeks though! (Before recovering and then hanging around because of the quality of the song - and copious amounts of radio airplay with R1 playing it about once every 10 minutes of course )

'Paradise' does have airplay almost comparable to ETIAW now but that doesn't explain how it's barely left the top 20 yet even when it was getting almost no airplay.

I'm not complaining obviously as 'Paradise' is a fantastic song and I'm thrilled to see it holding up so well, even if that doesn't translate to actually being in the chart. I just can't fathom why it would hold up so much better than ETIAW. Maybe it is just that the public thinks it's a lot better, that's pretty much the only reasonable explanation I suppose.

Let's hope it can keep this up and manage a top 20 debut... three weeks from Sunday :nocheer: Still so far away, it'll probably enter lower than their Rihanna duet.

Well, as much as I like ETIAW, I think Paradise is a lot more amazing.

I still prefer ETIAW but they're both easily in my top 10 of the year. I'm just really hoping the rest of Mylo Xyloto is of a similar quality, from the two singles it has potential to be their best album to date. I'm specifically nervous about hearing the Rihanna song because I'm worried it's going to turn out horrible.

Wtf, LMFAO now top 5  I am worried for the state of the country's taste right now....

I've been worried for it for about 7 weeks and 3 days now

But seriously, I actually really like SAIKI. Not sure why to be honest, I just do.

Catching up with all this and *.* at the decision to release 'We Found Love' this week - even if it is midweek so what?

The track is clearly popular with all the fake versions selling so it's a wise move from the record company. 'We Found Love' would need to sell bucketloads between Thursday-Saturday to be in with a chance of getting to no. 1 officially on Sunday. Thing is, it's difficult to tell just how much Maroon 5 are selling at the moment. Are they really looking set for their best sales week yet (82k being their weekly best so far?). I doubt it to be honest - think it's more lack of competition resulting in lower sales ('Iris' is still top 3 on iTunes, surely that says something?).

At least it makes this Sundays chart more interesting as it could go either way as to whether Rihanna can deny Maroon 5 a UK no. 1 again!!! (See 'Umbrella' Vs 'Makes Me Wonder' :D ).

As for next week there's no guarantee that either Matt Cardle or Gym Class Heroes will get to #1 so Rihanna could still be #1 next week. I'm aware Matt will get his token X Factor slot but so did Joe McElderry and his song went in at #6.

Who knows Rihanna might perform on the Xfactor on Sunday!

When do we find out who is performing? I'm guessing it will be in the papers soon. Gaga is in the country so fingers crossed :w00t:
