April 22, 201213 yr Matt & Sueleen remind me of Peters & Lee, a 60/70s band, for younger members ask your parents, Suedehead will know who I mean :D Yes, he does. Lennie Peters the blind singer.
April 22, 201213 yr Leanne, Becky and David have been bockmarked as potential winners tonight I think!
April 22, 201213 yr Does anyone know how the lives work? Each team has 5 members but surely they won't all perform next week? I presume they get split up somehow?
April 22, 201213 yr I think it gets split up into teams (I'm assuming something like Team Will and Team Jessie on Saturday, Team Tom and Team Danny on the Sunday) But instead of going head to head, they fight it our for the public's vote to the final 3 of each team? Or is it one per team each week?
April 22, 201213 yr http://www.radiotimes.com/episode/qhrsn/th...oice-uk-results Results show Sunday 29th 7:25pm to 8pm
April 22, 201213 yr my comments/preferred contestants for each round: Cassius vs. David 'Beat It' (I thought the wrong choice was made here, wasn't a very strong duet, but Cassius shyed away too much) Barbara vs. Leanne 'Edge of Glory' (not hard, Barbara was only OK, Leanna pretty much nailed it!) Frances vs. Kate 'Ironic' (bless them :( I liked Kate more in the auditions, but tonight I couldn't really tell them apart as they were so similar, Frances it is then :P ) Aleks vs. Emmy 'Broken Strings' (I thought Aleks was always going to go through, but Emmy came across as just a bit bitter, so I supported him slightly more) Ruth vs. Ben 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody' (well that was a slightly odd decision  I see nothing in Ruth that we haven't seen before) Matt & Sueleen vs. Lindsey 'Born To Run' (I wasn't keen in the auditions, but they were good tonight and thought they outsang Lindsay, who I don't really think was anything special) Hannah vs. Murray 'Kids' (didn't really care either way, Hannah was always going to go through) Becky vs. Indie & Pixie 'Irreplaceable' (this was an utter anhilation, Becky really put herself out there and the girls were a bit all over the place) Adam vs. Denise 'Use Somebody' (he has a much more unique tone to his voice, I'm glad he went through) J Marie vs. Sophie 'Firework' (it was a little bit shouty really, I suppose its slightly surprising J Marie was sent home but I wasn't really fussed either way) David vs. John 'Dakota' (really great duet, favourite of the night definitely, I thought David outsang John, but they were both great) so now its live singing with the public voting? sounds a bit X Factor lite really :(
April 23, 201213 yr Couple of the decisions I didn't agree with, but on the whole they got them right. Indie and Pixie were pitchy in places, but Becky has one gear and that's it. It's so screechy, bratish infact. And again with Ruth and Ben. Jessie went for power over technique. She gets too lost in the battle and forgets about the bigger picture imo. There will be only one gender of winner and that will be male. And right now I would place my money on Aleks Josh.
April 23, 201213 yr Tonight's show was a bit disappointing tbh. Quite a few decisions I didn't agree with, Jessie pissed me off a bit. Really wanted Barbara to go through as she had a great audition aswell but -_- And how the tree huggers went through over Lindsey, I guess I just don't get them. Matt is ok but Suleen is shite. Regarding yesterday's show, Tyler James hasn't shown off his potential yet at all. His audition wasn't great and then Will choosing that song  Have a feeling he will be great in the lives. Don't know if anyone remembers this or has even heard it but he did a cover of 'Your Woman' when he was signed, don't know if it was going to be his next single or what but I love it; " data-tag="youtube" data-tagfull=" "> Won't let me post it for some reason. April 23, 201213 yr I quite liked the blind audition eventually, but the 'battles' were rubbish. Just two people shouting out recent songs and then the judges put through one of them based on 'quotas' and how well they can be marketed. The USP has gone already.
April 24, 201213 yr So, my favourite has gone already... J Marie was unlucky to be paired with one of the few who could get close to her vocally, and just happened to be ten years younger. Good decision in terms of a career if Sophie were to go far, but for the competition? Nahh.
April 24, 201213 yr J Marie wasn't even remotely likable though, she came across as cold. They need people who can sing and demonstrate a personality so for the competition I think it was the right call. Deniece vs Ruth was top class television. Truly one of the greatest 'moments' created by one of these shows in a long time. I hope Deniece gets another opportunity in terms of her career somehow, she seems so sweet and she's such a slick performer.
April 27, 201213 yr Team Will and Team Tom tomorrow. Song choices are: Team Will: Joelle Moses - I’m Going Down (Mary J Blige) Sophie Griffin - Titanium (David Guetta feat Sia) Jaz Ellington - At Last (Etta James) Frances Wood – Ain’t Nobody (Chaka Khan) Tyler James – Higher Love (James Vincent McMorrow) Team Tom Sam Buttery – A Little Respect (Erasure) Matt and Sueleen – Go Your Own Way (Fleetwood Mac) Leanne Mitchell - Who Knew (Pink) Adam Isaac – All My Life (Foo Fighters) Ruth Brown – Get Here (Oleta Adams) Some good and nice choices there! Finally 'Who Knew' by P!nk instead of the usual 'Nobody Knows'! and it's Leanne singing it, who is one of my tips to win. Hope she doesn't make me look foolish.
April 28, 201213 yr Joelle was good but seemed a tad off at times. A classic case of giving it a bit too much. Sam wasn't as good though, it seemed a little bit karaoke. I also can't see him going that far in this contest.
April 28, 201213 yr I see what you mean about karaoke but Sam was quite entertaining. I agree with Jessie J on the dancers. They were a pointless distraction.
April 28, 201213 yr Joelle, her performance was great I think she has definitely set the bar Sam, just murdered a classic track by Erasure.
April 28, 201213 yr Frances is doing a WONDERFUL job, she's really putting effort into the performance. I love Ain't Nobody on talent shows, but this is good regardless! Easily the best so far!
April 28, 201213 yr Francis really didn't impress me when she sang 'Where Is The Love?' in the blind auditions but so far I think she's doing a good job of 'Ain't Nobody'. Didn't get the mon£y not£ and sang a lower note instead but I liked that. Good job!!! :D
April 28, 201213 yr I can't stand Chuck-up Khan or any of her songs but that version of Ain't Nobody was not bad at all.
