The latter not quite as quickly as it's getting more attention due to the Christmas #1 campaign.

Hopefully Nirvana will be reduced to 59p again the week before Christmas :kink:

Not surprised this must be the poorest Wanted's single.

I'm guessing you missed 'Gold Forever' earlier this year?

I've been away for a day and I see a christmassy looking Justin Bieber song I've never heard of in the top 10, can someone give me a brief summary as to why? It's been so long since he polluted the top 10.

Lightning isn't bad as such - it just feels like they've stepped back a year. It sounds like another Lose My Mind - and what I was beginning to like about The Wanted was their new dance-influenced songs, but this is back to their old stuff.

Looks like Rihanna has number one wrapped up.

01. Rihanna & Calvin Harris - We Found Love 100%

02. The Wanted - Lightning 84.9%

03. Charlene Soraia - Wherever You Will Go 82.1%

2. Lightning - The Wanted

5. Mr. Know It All (Radio Edit) - Kelly Clarkson

9. Mistletoe - Justin Bieber

11. Video Games - Lana Del Rey

12. Got 2 Luv U (feat. Alexis Jordan) - Sean Paul

Even if one of them is Bieber and one is an incredibly average The Wanted song, 5 new releases in the top 12 can never be a bad thing really. Hopefully Kelly will overtake Maroon 5 soon (she's ahead in the mids but I wouldn't be surprised if they re-overtake :( They'll definitely be no higher than 4 though as Rihanna/The Wanted/Charlene have the top 3 wrapped up)

13. Paradise - Coldplay

Really surprised it hasn't started falling again yet (well it has but only because Lana and Sean overtook it which doesn't really count).

28. Run for Your Life - Matt Cardle

68. Run for Your Life - Matt Cardle

Should manage a second week top 20 which is one more than Joe managed, it may have to settle for matching Joe's 3 top 40 weeks but as expected 'Letters' looks set to do a lot better than 'Wide Awake' which is more important anyway.

52. Shake It Out - Florence + The Machine

Not holding up too badly at all after its terrible first week, I really hope it can re-enter the top 40 in the coming weeks now it's on R1's A-List.

92. Lights Out, Words Gone - Bombay Bicycle Club

Didn't expect to be seeing this in the top 100! 'A Different Kind Of Fix' should have been much bigger, I hope they can finally get a big selling album with album 4. A top 40 single would be nice too but given their genre the #56 peak of 'Ivy & Gold' and the #64 peak of 'Shuffle' are decent enough. Hopefully LO,WG will give them a fourth top 100 hit (and break their curse of one top 100 hit per album :P)

95. What Is Love - Haddaway

 Classic. Brilliant to see this back.

59p songs put back to 99p now then? On the downside it means Nirvana won't make the top 40 (although they'll be quite a bit higher than just top 40 at Christmas the way this Facebook campaign is going anyway) but on the upside She Will Be Loved probably won't get there either :D

And before anyone asks its featured on a TV ad, I can't remember the ad in question

Wanted are dropping very quickly :cheer: Rihanna and Charlene would be a brilliant top 2!!

And if Maroon and Kelly can take over Wanted too, that could be the best top 4 of the year, along with Marroon, Sats, Pixie and Leona :D

The Wanted won't drop any lower than #2 officially I reckon, even if they fall a lot on iTunes. I'm extremely surprised they're not #1 with a massive lead, perhaps people have seen sense and acknowledged the song is not very good. Sort of puts JLS' chances of a sixth #1 in jeopardy a bit although JLS probably have a bigger dedicated fanbase, their last two ballads soared past 100k and TACOM will likely do the same, so as they're the only major release that week it'll take a previous release staying with massive sales for more than a week which I doubt will happen.

I would ideally prefer the top 5 to look like this:

#1. Rihanna

#2. Charlene Soraia

#3. Kelly Clarkson

#4. Maroon 5/Christina

#5. Katy Perry :kink:

But I'll settle for a Rihanna/Charlene/Wanted top 3 in that order.

Yeah.....someone already said  wish people would read the previous few comments at least before posting comments like that, why do mods somehow think they're above everyone else and can talk in a down looking tone to them ;)

Thar's a bit uncalled for? The fact was mentioned pages ago, nobody wants to read all that just to stop people you stupidly moaning when they miss one post and accidentally repeat the fact.

Or their fans have finally hit puberty & discovered *real* boys? :w00t:
