Coldplay are very overrated I agree. They have quite a few good songs (I LOVE Viva La Vida, their best for sure, and also Princess Of China plus a few others are good) but for the most part they are SO dull and just nothing special at all. There are much better bands of 'that ilk' for sure!

 

I've never really gotten into Coldplay either - one or two OK songs, but not someone I'd want a whole album of.

Nobody had a clue what she was going on about in that song tbh. :lol: Everybody was like "Well, what actually IS a hollaback girl?". Kind of like when Like a G6 was popular, everybody was like "This song is absolutely brilliant, but what on earth is a G6?". :lol:

And in the true nature of this thread I can honestly say I NEVER thought that about that utter piece of garbage. I should be able to get a music career these days considering some of the outright shockingly awful acts that are making money off it.

To be honest, I do agree with him though. I think both those songs are incredible, but there's a lot of songs I hear in the charts that I hear and I know I could make much better than that.

Actually I LOVE Hollaback Girl. Although Gwen is capable of better.

I don't know why, but I love trashy white-girl rap songs in general. I think Gwen Stefani, Dev, Fergie, Nelly Furtado, Ke$ha and Cher Lloyd should get together and form a super group. :lol:

 

To try and be hateful, I really don't like What You Waiting For? Seemed so generic when it came out.
