Why?

Loving the song choices for Sophie and Marcus there. :wub: Both in my top 50 of all time!

 

:puke: at Frankie probably murdering another classic then. Should be interesting to hear Rhythmix, I'm no fan of the song, but they seem to be something different to the normal girl group (even if Superbass was horrendously weak and out of tune last week).

Why?

It's just annoying how he always sings female songs. I know his voice suits it but it's so annoying.

I'm not sure what male songs he could sing, anyway. He's not going to sing anything even slightly rock if he doesn't have to, and I can't see him doing anything along the James Morrison or Enrique route. I say best keep him singing female ballads. :wub:

Fairly dull list of songs this week (expected given the theme though). What is up with Gary Barlow and giving Marcus songs that I hate with a passion? I know it's only twice it's happened, but considering there aren't really THAT many songs I dislike it seems a bit unlikely he's happened upon two of my least favourite songs of the past few years. Hmph.

 

'I'm Like A Bird' though :wub: So much better than Nelly's Timbaland-era stuff (Maneater aside).

 

And I can already see Johnny's awfulness. I hope he does a serious performance at some point but knowing Louis he won't. Well, we did get a decent-ish performance of 'Creep' by Wagner last year I suppose.

Singing songs by girls all the time never caused Matt any problems - if Craig sounds good singing them (as he did with Jar Of Hearts) - bring on the female songs. :lol:

Absolute rubbish! You hate loads of amazing songs that are X Factor-likely :P But I'm with you on this week's Marcus track :puke2:

I dont see no problem in Craig doing female song's either :huh: Shouldn't be whether its female or male, Aslong as he does a good job of the song who cares? :)

I actually think Rhythmix are my faves in the comp ha, they seem to have a certain something to them imo :(.

The song choice didn't suit them. I like them but they're serious contenders for bottom 2.

Nu Vibe: Absolutely atrocious, they simply CANNOT sing and WOWY cannot be done with a generic dance backing track. :( And it's painfully obvious they're not a group.

I quite liked Nu Vibe tonight! Cool version of the song and some nice vocals!

 

Wish James was still in :( I was looking at some of his performances on Youtube today and man, the tone of that voice! Good-looking too. I was kinda hoping for Marcus to go home instead of him...

01 Nu Vibe - Whoever thought, let's have them sing with minimal instrumental at the start, was a good idea. It wasn't, it highlighted their flaws. You can tell they're five solo singers. Weak. 5/10

Nu Vibe - Better than last week but that's not saying a whole lot. I'd agree the performance was bit flat....and I quite like that song so that's not a good thing. Very average. 5/10

Nu Vibe - With Or Without You

 

Tulisa trying to turn them into the new "The Wanted" then judging from that version of the track. Vocally there were points where it seemed to work, and others where it just didn't. Not the best start to the show but I'm already hopeful that things will improve with other performances tonight. 3/10

Nu Vibe were horrible. They started out good, with the lead vocalist on his own, but as soon as everyone else started singing, it got completely messed up. They are SO not working as a group. Should be a CERT for bottom two tomorrow.
