FYI

Crazy

isn't by

Gnarls Barkley

either, they're not allowed to use that song :o

Why did you think that? It's exactly what they are performing right now...

As expected, biggest effect for SCYHO, SCOM, PR and LOAP...

Just wondering, does anyone know how high up 'Purple Rain' went after Ruth Lorenzo's performance a few years ago?

I bet if it had happened this year the song would probably have went top ten (I don't think X-Factor had much of an effect on iTunes until last year?)

I think it went into the 80s. Not sure though.

The vast majority of those song choices tonight were predictable and rubbish - especially Misha's. I predicted Janet would perform TBT's version of SCOM once Rock week was announced.

449. Read All About It (feat. Emeli Sandé) - Professor Green

686. Earthquake (Radio Edit) - Labrinth

129. Read All About It (feat. Emeli Sande) - Professor Green

779. You Make Me Feel... (feat. Sabi) - Cobra Starship

Oh bloody hell, gorgeous though it is I'm not sure I want "Stop Crying Your Heart Out" back in the top 40 as someone will inevitably claim the Leona cover is better than the original at some point. At said point, my head will probably explode.
dammit, didn't know Labrinth had so many versions :( hopefully, Green will keep ahead of the main one until XF, I still think this battle is far from over

109. Earthquake (Full Version) - Labrinth

200. Earthquake (Radio Edit) - Labrinth

Labrinth probably ahead combined, plus his EP is at #2 and Green's is at #3. Green's bloody XF performance will obviously seal the #1 for him though  But hopefully Labrinth can put up a good fight. Great start for both, RK not doing too badly either.

If Professor Green and Labrinth get the top 2, it'll be the best top 2 since Wretch 32/Emeli Sande imo.

Professor Green, Labrinth, Rizzle Kicks, Cobra Starship should all go top 10 I think. The only other top 40 entries I can see us getting are Beyonce and Oasis, and possibly Coldplay.

Coldplay will definitely have one entry (Paradise) and probably another as well (Princess Of China).

I hope Countdown rockets up the chart. I'd love it to be another top 5 hit for Beyonce.

There's a Coldplay song called Charlie Brown aswell, which is high on every other countries iTunes for some reason.

I think they've performed CB live a few times so it's sort of already well known.

I wouldn't be surprised if quite a few album tracks go top 100 on iTunes here although POC will definitely be the highest obviously.
