I think this forum would be the first to know if they had

Cher Llyod will probably be #1 come Sunday when its released, maybe even before her X Factor performance? But its a very compeitive top 3 right now, 3 big big songs!

Not sure how Nicole's Try With Me will do..top 40? I guess One That Got Away & Runaway Baby have got to #15ish so maybe she could do the same..

I don't know if my eyes could take seeing Kelly Clarkson being overtaken by LMF... *shudders* but it's bound to happen pretty soon!

What's LMF?

What's LMF?

LMFAO.

Criminal #453

Baby One More Time #354

.....so no

Oh dear. BOMT above her new single?! That's what you get for not adding it to your tour setlist! -_-

I doubt it, given the relatively modest sales of SJ - and she has real competition this time.

Labrinth's top version now only has a ~0.6% lead over Rihanna as of the last LPB update, so Rihanna will be back at #2 any minute now.

With Ur Love has been received much more favourably than Swagger Jagger, it'll do a lot better.

Songs released this week:

Birdy - People Help The People (I think this should return her to the top 40 after Shelter missed out)

Cher Lloyd feat. Mike Posner - With Ur Love (should be #1 with an XF performance unless Green's sales hold up really well)

High Contrast feat. Tiësto and Underworld - The First Note Is Silent (this was in the top 200 albums on pre-orders a while ago)

Lucenzo/Don Omar - Danza Kuduro (hopefully top 5 - I refuse to acknowledge the Pitbull version)

Nicole Scherzinger - Try With Me (should be top 10 with XF and I've seen it loads on music channels, maybe top 5)

I thought Bruno Mars' It Will Rain was meant to be out this week but it seems to have been pushed back a week.

Hopefully Cher does reach the #1 spot. With Your Love is actually on right now on 4Music, I didn't realise it was *this* good.

Hopefully Rih can overtake Pro Green by next Wednesday so she can hopefully climb up to the #2 spot on the official chart in 2 weeks.

We have our first Halloween song in the top 100.

Halloween top 300 update:

100. Ghostbusters - Ray Parker, Jr.

107. Thriller - Michael Jackson

144. Thriller (Single Version) - Michael Jackson

205. Monster Mash (Re-Recorded) - Bobby "Boris" Pickett

212. Time Warp - Little Nell, Patricia Quinn & Richard O'Brien

243. Monster Mash - Bobby "Boris" Pickett

There are a whole bunch of other songs in the top 300 which can be loosely linked to Halloween but I'll stick to the 'Halloween classics' which are definitely only in the chart because of Halloween.

I'll update this periodically.

For the new releases I predict:

Birdy - People Help The People (top 75 - so much weaker than Shelter for me, I can see it doing about the same, if a bit higher maybe)

Cher Lloyd ft. Mike Posner - With Ur Love (definitely number 1, probably even before XF and then XF will ensure it has a healthy lead)

High Contrast ft. Tiesto & Underworld - The First Note Is Silent (no idea, don't even think I've heard it...)

Lucenzo ft. Don Omar - Danza Kuduro (I think about the same as Badman Riddim, top 10 but not top 5)

Nicole Scherzinger - Try With Me (8/9ish, perhaps, top 5 if it gets off to a good start before X-Factor as it's had decent exposure already despite a pretty late premeire)

where is kelly?

Down For Whatever? Not in the top 1000

Confirmed/rumoured X-Factor performances

30th October; Cher Lloyd and Nicole Scherzinger

6th November; Florence + the Machine and JLS

13th November; Jessie J, One Direction and Westlife

20th November; Kelly Rowland, Olly Murs and X-Factor finalists (Charity single performance)

27th November; Jason DeRulo and Rebecca Ferguson

No Gaga?

They should have 3 performances every week imo. It'll give more artists a chance to perform, and the guest performances are the best thing about the show imo.

Lady Gaga doesn't need to go on the X Factor tbh. Marry the Night will go top 40 anyway.

Although maybe not, as it's not even top 1000 on iTunes yet!?! :o I noticed it didn't even get top 1000 on iTunes when it was 59p either.

That's kind of embarrassing tbh, considering a song such as Peacock by Katy Perry, which isn't even a confirmed future single, is not 59p, and was first put on iTunes 18 months ago, is #785 atm.

Ouch. I still think Marry the Night will easily go top 40 though.

There is also two weeks after the 27th, did it not strike you she may be on then? :P
They could be saving Lady Gaga for the final, possibly (I'd say she's big enough to be in the final, if they had Christina Aguilera in it last year ).
We can rule out Adele because the stupid smoking bitch has had to cancel all her dates and appearances for the rest of the year thanks to her throat problem :(
Gaga's got stuff going on in America during December, so I highly doubt she'll be here. It'd make more sense for her to perform when she's over in Manchester next month for the CIN concert.
