OG(ITW) >>>>>> WFL

WFL isn't one of her best songs tbh. It's very underwhelming after her last three albums - especially Loud.

I wish 2007 had a great sales climate like 2011 because 'Umbrella' deserves to be a million seller after being #1 for 10 weeks! :( I take it RB is nowhere near a million...

RB? Rude Boy? Nowhere near. Her closest song to a million after Only Girl is What's My Name?, followed by Umbrella.

Umbrella would probably have Someone Like You-esque sales if the sales climate was like this when it was released I think.

Down For Whatever? Not in the top 1000

Confirmed/rumoured X-Factor performances

13th November; Jessie J, One Direction and Westlife

I thought Westlife had split? r are they splitting after the release of their greatest hits?

Right There, What's My Name? and Lay It On Me (i.e. the only RnB songs to be released in the past 12 months :drama:) are all written by Ester Dean, so that could be why. I don't know what's wrong with Ester Dean. She's like obsessed with sex. All her songs have such filthy lyrics. I think she needs to get a boyfriend tbh.
Didn't Ester also write 'S&M' and 'Rude Boy'?! Kinky cow!

I know you're only "doing the classics" but, I think you should include that 'Calling All the Monsters' into this. It's about time, like with Christmas, we had a new original holiday-themed song!

Yep, and also 'Super Bass'

Oh, and Westlife are splitting after their GHs, but I don't think they'll get an X Factor slot with this single anyway.

Fine, I'll include it in the next update.

The other songs I considered including but chose not to:

Duck Sauce - Big Bad Wolf

Skrillex - Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites

Echo & The Bunnymen - The Killing Moon

Should I include any of those?

I am a big fan of the new Duck Sauce song so really sad to see it flop :( It's not as good as Barbra Streisand but it would make a great addition to the top 40 for Halloween. That Skrillex song has been hanging around for ages, I wish it would finally be a hit someday but probably not.

The last big dance/club hit song that can be related to Halloween must have been Brainbug's "Nightmare"

Probably not, they're just Halloween-y titles rather than actual Halloween songs, but Calling All The Monsters has a Halloween theme in it. Plus SMANS and BBW are just there because they're recent, I suppose you could include The Killing Moon as I imagine it is only Halloween sales and nothing else.

TKM is 59p which is why I haven't included it. I think I'll include that in the next update anyway though.

Lay It On Me is down as being released 6th Feb on the release sched, so we will be getting it!

Also Gotye and Kimbra (as know for being totally amazing yet flopping in BJSC) are releasing in Feb too, fingers crossed for surprise hit? It's been number 1 in New Zealand, Australia (for AGES), Netherlands and Belgium!

Gotta ditto Ryan, really hope this goes to #1! Completely addicted right now.

Off topic but :w00t: at Alexandra Burke being a guest judge on tonight's X Factor!

Is it too much to ask for 'The Silence' and 'All Night Long' to climb? :kink:

Really!?!? :o That'll be fantastic promotion for her I think. All her songs should climb a little bit. Although I was hoping for Nicole Scherzinger, since I would enjoy the drama and media coverage if she did.

The Silence happened to get back in the chart recently for some reason anyway (maybe it was used on X Factor)? I even heard it on the radio again aswell.

I thought Westlife had split? r are they splitting after the release of their greatest hits?

Wouldn't they have to have some great ones, first?

02. Rihanna / Calvin Harris 'We Found Love'

04. Maroon 5 / Christina Aguilera 'Moves Like Jagger'

08. Gym Class Heroes / Adam Levine 'Stereo Hearts'

^ US acts continuing to climb within the T10 comes as no surprise. It just amuses me that the likes of The Wanted are set to tumble 2-9 tomorrow, whilst the 10 week old 'Moves Like Jagger' is set for a 4-6 drop - but also looks likely to return to the T5 next week (I only see Cher Lloyd challenging the #1 spot next week).

Kelly Rowland dropping out for the weekend is going to have some big consequences - if people don't take her seriously as a judge, then there's not a hope in hell that her music career is going to fluorish once again. 'Down For Whatever' and 'Lay It On Me' aren't going to be picked by the radio playlists if she continues to make a fool of herself on the television.

Apparently Misha is performing

Disturbia/Toy Soldier

so expect boosts from them. If its true... :w00t:

Toy Soldier

? By who? There's loads of songs called that! If it's true, I'd hope it's the

Eminem/Martika

, but I can't see that happening.

The other song is dreadful. :puke: One of her most boring and generic songs, and was just cashing in on the musical trends of the time. It wouldn't climb much at all if it was performed anyway, since it's not that sort of song. It is, however, high on iTunes atm.

I'm finding that whole situation just hilarious tbh. But then again, unlike Cheryl, Tulisa (and to be honest, Nicole aswell ), Kelly Rowland has a career to maintain outside the UK aswell. Ideally, radio won't play Down For Whatever, but will suddenly start playing Lay It On Me in December-time. :kink: I wish. If anything, it'll happen the other way around. :(

I'm hoping its

Eminem

too, and the other song i agree is one of her worst, but i love Misha, and i just know the performance will be huge! ^_^

I doubt it'll return to the top 5. As well as Cher Lloyd there's also Nicole Scherzinger's new song and Danza Kuduro, both of which are potential top 5 hits IMO.

Tomorrow will be its 11th week top 10, there's quite a few new releases in the next few weeks (Cher/Nicole/DK tomorrow, Bruno/Tinchy/Loick/JLS/Pixie the week after, The Collective/One Direction/The Saturdays/Westlife the week after) so I have my fingers crossed Maroon 5 might not beat Ed Sheeran's top 10 weeks after all. They probably still will though.

Re:Misha - I would imagine it definitely is

Eminem/Martika, a Britney or Keri Hilson album track isn't well known enough to warrant an XF performance... Though TS is like my favourite Keri song so MASSIVE YES if it was.

Plus the other song is my 2nd fave from the artist

I don't think Misha rapping

Like Toy Soldier's

lyrics would be very appropraite though. I mean, she doesn't personally know any of the people the song is about.
