:left: 367. Britney Spears - Criminal

Has the video been sent to UK music channels, yet?

 94. Jessie J - Who You Are

I heard someone say that the Criminal video might not be shown on some channels, due to it featuring a woman running around London with a gun, just after the riots.

That sucks! :(

I'm sure they can make an edited version or something. This will really damage the sales of the song! :(

'Earthquake' now up to #12 on pre-orders :cheer: 'Read All About It' up to #38. Olly Murs' new single is at #70 - I really love it, it's extremely different to 'Heart Skips A Beat' though. Although that's a good thing really because at least Olly is proving that he's fairly versatile. It's a shame it'll miss #1 thanks to new ne X Factor Finalists single :(

Because it was going to sell SO MUCH anyway...

 But, it would have been good if it went top 50 or something, so it can at least chart. I just hope it doesn't become Britney's second single that doesn't chart! :(

If Britney's video did get banned, it could help the sales of the song, if it caused any controversy.

Although recent songs with music videos that got banned, such Red Nation by The Game and Monster by Kanye West missed the top 200 I think, so it might not help. I hate seeing all these artists who were so big a few years ago flopping like this with their singles now. :( At least Sean Paul is top 10!! :cheer:

Why the itunes video chart doesnt count for the official charts i'll never know!!

 But, it would have been good if it went top 50 or something, so it can at least chart. I just hope it doesn't become Britney's second single that doesn't chart! :(

if 'I wanna go' couldn't crack it, 'criminal' definitely couldn't/shouldn't.

I think Adele is likely to be higher than Snoop/Wiz/Bruno on Digital Songs anyway since they were only ahead for a few days. May be a different case next week though where it might be down as far as #4 or 5 on the actual sales chart but still be #1 'officially' due to its airplay.

Well, I was right - Adele is #1 on Digital Songs again, albeit by a ridiculously small margin (207k to LMFAO's 206k). 3 & 4 are even closer, both Rihanna (3) and Foster The People (4) are rounded off to 174k. Snoop Dogg is only #6 (Maroon 5 down to #5 :D)

Snoop Dogg was released mid-week though, I think, but is still already down to #10 now! It's so silly how people laugh at The Club is Alive, when you see some of the things which happen in other countries.

I'm glad it doesn't count to the official charts really. We'll get artists releasing mediocre songs but good music videos and selling a lot, which I don't want. It would hurt artists such as Adele, Foster the People, etc. and help artists like Katy Perry, Rihanna and Justin Bieber. And even more of the music videos would feature naked women to increase the sales. So the songs such as Sweat would be selling even more. Music videos effect the chart enough as it is, even without actually including their sales!

Nope. Not by "default". She kick started her 'Heartbeats' tour three nights ago and airplay/video play is obviously increasing. :P

205. Example - Playing in the Shadows

Does anybody know what that song is doing so high up the chart?

I heard it on an advert for a video game last night?

I see Rihanna's video hasn't really made an impact yet, although I guess it isn't being played on TV yet? Hopefully both WFL and Paradise will get big increases from their videos soon.

Coldplay's new video hasn't had any effect on Paradise yet, but given the situation I wouldn't want any effect to take place until Monday anyway
