You mum is probably my age <_<

And yes, it is pretty good. Although my opinion is tainted a tad by being a huge fan.

My Mum is in her 40s

If Super Bass was Nicki's first single she would probably have done a lot better with the following singles! This has been her big breakthrough. This era she should have gone...

1. Super Bass

2. Fly feat Rihanna

3. Check It Out with will.i.am & Cheryl Cole

4. Moment 4 Life feat Drake

5. Girls Fall Like Dominoes

6. Right Thru Me

I think she would have done a lot better overall!

I still hope she releases a video for Girls Fall Like Dominoes, one of the best from Pink Friday and would end off quite a good era for her.

Wherever You Will Go + Iris are amazing ballads
Nice blast from the past here - a 2002 song followed by a 1998 song

Ah ha! :D

Anyway, nice to hear WYWG and Iris one after each other.

Amazing hearing Princess Of China as well. Mylo Xyloto's just arrived for me. I'm sure I will be listening to it a lot now.

Scottish kitsch-dance producer, Calvin Harris, burst on to the UK music scene with his tongue-in-cheek single, "Acceptable In The 80s", which reached number 10 in the UK singles chart. A blend of retro synth sounds, and knowing lyrics it set the template for Harris' debut full length, I CREATED DISCO, released in June 2007. The album was preceded by Harris' second single, "The Girls", which upping the ante with it's ironic claims of sexual attractiveness--set to a synth sample from the Human League--the single shot top number 3 in the single charts. - HMV

I wonder if the two versions of Wherever You Will Go will be on Now 80? It's just like Don't Stop Believin' all over again

Album Discussion Here

I hate 'Fly'. It's sooooooooooooo dull compared to 'Super Bass'.
Nicki Minaj's pronunciation is really weird in this. 'Amyzing'? 'Alarn'? 'Defarned'?
Rihanna at 03-25-33-40 just shows the extent to which she dominates the charts at the moment. 4 different from 4 different albums is a really amusing achievement, but releasing 'Cheers (Drink to That)' was undermined by the early release of 'We Found Love - which we weren't expecting until 21 November.
