I hope so! Now that I've thought about it, Kitty and Frankie could go as they've both been in the bottom two, but if it was Little Mix against Kitty, I'd say the judges would pick Kitty? Misha will have the rebound vote so she'll be safe...

or they could say Kitty may be talented, but obviously isn't liked and send her home. They did the same with JLS and Rachel.. Her Bottom 2 performance was a lot better, but the judges still sent her home as it was their 1st time in the bottom 2 and the 2nd/3rd for Rachel

It is obvious two of the most interesting contestants will go most likely Kitty, Frankie or Misha. It will be another boring, stale, male winner most likely Craig.

A final with four contestants is awful! You get less performances from each contestant, and it generally feels more rushed. Final 3 is the best - three performances by each act on Saturday, then 2, possibly 3 on Sunday.

 

Anyway, with a double this week, and presuming it's a single eviction every week until the final, there will be 3 in the final :)

One of the biggest mistakes of the series was not allowing the public to vote in the first live show - they won't do it again, as viewers will drop even more than they already have.

If they don't do a double nomination they'd have been heading for another final of 4. The double elimination makes it a final of 3.

 

The final is on the weekend of the 10th/11th and there are 9 contestants left. Then there'll be eliminations on the 6th, the 13th, the 20th, the 27th and the 4th, leaving 4 people in the competition on the 11th.

Is it me or is everyone overreacting to the 'slump' in ratings? These shock factors that we're getting as a result is just annoying. Personally, this is the best the shows been in ages

 

Much as she had no hope of winning, it's kind of a shame she's missed this week as it was clear she was much more comfortable with club bangers than she was the housewife ballads Louis kept trying to toss her.

 

I don't quite understand all the Louis bashing with regard to songs for his acts. Craig chose his own song to sing in the first week of the lives - so there was nothing stopping Sami doing the same for herself - she just didn't have the balls to do it. I liked her but vocally she really is nothing more than a karaoke singer.

 

I want Kitty to stay for a while - and Louis has done right by her with her songs - especially the Bjork one. Sadly - it seems the media is ruining it for her. It is weird that Louis actually has the best (or certainly the most entertaining) acts this series - but he'll be left with nothing the week after this.

 

I really want either Janet and one of Gary's acts to go this week - or two of Gary's acts. I'd be happy with that.

I agree, the ratings are still good - it's just that last year's ratings were almost unbelievable. The contestants may not be the best, but I'm enjoying the show more than ever - good to be rid of Cheryl & Simon. Don't think I'd watch if they brought either of them back tbh.

No so sure. I think maybe the Wagner minded voters may be keeping the joke act in. Can you imagine Gary's face though - if Craig and Marcus were bottom two - and his sole hope of finding a universal superstar was Frankie? The idea to me is very, very appealing! :lol:

I loved Craig at his audition - but he's just been plain boring since. Marcus - he's just a plain 'play it safe man' kind of bloke. Mind you - he flies quite low under the radar that he could win the show (but then I feel he'll be a Joe!)

 

I'd just love it if Louis won with his geriatrics!

Marcus is too contemporary to be another Joe. If he won he could make the sort of pop music usually given to female winners/runners-up ie. pop that sells rather than dreary MOR nonsense.

 

Yeah I agree, Marcus would be a decent enough winner and could do music that will sell. Craig on the other hand ....
