November 3, 201114 yr As much as I don't like professor green's song, I'm so glad the dull and unremarkable Cher Lloyd has dropped from no1.
November 3, 201114 yr She's finally dropped to no.2! Imagine if she ended up at no.4 or 5 by Sunday! If only... but I think #3 is the worst that'll happen.
November 3, 201114 yr I knew this would be her 'Thinking Of Me'! It seems to get a generally better response than her first single but looks set to peak lower, even with an XF performance. I'm still confident that it'll outsell 'Swagger Jagger' in the long run though. Hopefully her album opens with at least 30k+ sales :D
November 3, 201114 yr ed sheeran lego house doing so well without a video too!! It has a video... Yes it has and it's played on the hour on every music channel on tv, it's got Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) playing an Ed Sheeran look-a- like stalker in it. :D
November 3, 201114 yr What position is Adele in the singles chart today? Is it any change from the #19 position yesterday?
November 3, 201114 yr Maroon 5 still #5? Fall already :( It's now down to number NINE on iTunes! What exact position is 'Lego House'? It's obviously climbed from yesterday. Also, shouldn't Lana now be listed in the main update since it's now registering a climb? Oh and is Lucenzo still 11+1 or has it climbed back to 10+1? Edited November 3, 201114 yr by Bré
November 3, 201114 yr :( I hope Christina Perri's album can stay Top 40, but it doesn't look likely! :(
November 3, 201114 yr Beyonce's Countdown back in the T40 is great news - I hope it can improve on it's #38 position of last week, it'd be a shame for it to fall short of a T30 placing just when it's getting popular. However, it's re-entry means Nicki Minaj's 'Super Bass' or Olly Murs 'Heart Skips a Beat' is pushed out. Birdy was at 30 + 9 yesterday - but I don't see that falling out, it'll have climbed no doubt. Florence in the T30 is great news too - it was 30 + 4 yesterday! Also, Ed Sheeran has climbed 2 places since yesterday as The Wanted are at 5 + 5 and Kelly Clarkson is at 5 + 4.
November 3, 201114 yr Ooh, didn't see SIO in the top 30 today - should hopefully get a new peak then! The deluxe album version is #27 on iTunes and the standard album version and single version are both top 200 :D Hopefully it can still outpeak WTWGM but that may be a bit of a longshot. Will definitely vastly outsell it anyhow. Edited November 3, 201114 yr by Bré
November 3, 201114 yr Author What position is Adele in the singles chart today? Is it any change from the #19 position yesterday? 10+10 What exact position is 'Lego House'? It's obviously climbed from yesterday. 4+4 Oh and is Lucenzo still 11+1 or has it climbed back to 10+1? 6+6
November 3, 201114 yr So, Pro Green for #1 on Sunday? Or could Rihanna possibly climb back? I think Green will stick it out but Rihanna will overtake him next week. Labrinth might even overtake Green next week as well.
November 3, 201114 yr Yes it has and it's played on the hour on every music channel on tv. It's got Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) playing an Ed Sheeran look-a-like stalker in it. :D ...and it's completely brilliant. Far better than the song.
November 3, 201114 yr From Music Week UK Midweek Chart update: Green overtakes Lloyd Professor Green has overtaken Cher Lloyd on midweek sales as the former X Factor finalist looks like losing out on a second UK number one single. Her Syco single With Ur Love, featuring Mike Posner, had opened up a narrow sales lead over Virgin artist Professor Green’s Read All About It single with Emeli Sande at the beginning of the week, but Green has now moved ahead. According to Official Charts Company Data, Green has overturned a deficit of around 1,000 sales to lead Lloyd by around 4,000 sales up to the end of business on Wednesday. Read All About It had debuted at number one last Sunday with 153,007 sales, the second highest for a number one of the year so far. The outcome of this coming Sunday’s artist albums chart looks far clearer with Island act Florence + The Machine’s second album Ceremonials more than 20,000 sales in the lead following its release this week. Parlophone’s Coldplay album Mylo Xyloto is second, having debuted at number one last Sunday, while Professor Green’s At Your Inconvenience is showing up as a new entry at three.
November 3, 201114 yr It would have been nice if we got some actual sales for Green/Cher/Rihanna/Labrinth (or at least info on how far Green is ahead of the latter two)...
