Think: Susan Boyle

Want: Cher Lloyd

Likely to buy: Birdy, Cher Lloyd, Pixie Lott and The Wanted

Looking at the new releases - they arent actually THAT massive considering Monday is the first week of the big Christmas releases.....although Snow Patrol, JLS, One Direction(which will be the xmas biggest seller imo), Olly Murs and Rebecca Ferguson are still to come before the end of the month.

Think : SuBo

Want: The Wanted

Will Buy : The Wanted and Birdy (eventually when I have enough monies)

Think: The Wanted (or Susan Boyle)

Want: The Wanted

Will buy: none

Think: SuBo

Want: None of the above

Buy: None of the above

Pixie is too overrated. The Wanted are not worth a tenner. I don't particularly like SuBo's music. Cher Lloyd's album is crap. I've only heard SL from Birdy and I'm not keen on it.

Snap.

Probably got enough albums this week to keep me going through the xmas period until the January sales when I will pick up some albums i only half wanted for half the price. Last week i got Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, Ben Howard, Pro Green and Nirvana!
What an awful week for album releases.
I t will probably be the biggest selling albums week for a while though unfortunately!
I think Susan Boyle will chart the highest, although her high sales days are well past her, so I'm not expecting this to have amazing overall sales. As for my personal tastes, I can safely say nothing here even remotely interests me
What did her album sell first week last year?

100k I think? So she shouldn't get close to 100k this time, I can see it being a battle between her and Florence with The Wanted and Coldplay not far behind.

There we agree! :w00t:

It's interesting that that very few of us are intending to buy ourselves, the albums we expect to be the most successful.

What an AWFUL set of releases.

Probably Boyle will chart the highest, don't like any of them and certainly won't be buying any of them. Birdy will hopefully flop (but sadly I doubt it).

Pixie's releasing on the 14th. It even says so on Amazon.

Think: SuBo

Want: Cher

Might buy: Cher, eventually.
