November 6, 201114 yr Impressed by how high Shake It Out managed to stay just outside the top 40 - I thought it was going to be a huge flop. So glad it has re-peaked, IMO it should have peaked in the top 10 had it been released later after the video. It's an amazing song though, definitely top 10 of the year.

November 6, 201114 yr One of my favourite songs in the T40 this week - 'Shake It Out' is heads above what she's released before. Ideally it'll climb into the T10 - her only T10 entries to date are a cover of The Source's 'You Got the Love' and a mash-up of her #5 single with Dizzee Rascal. Nothing original from the band has peaked inside the T10 (although 'Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up)' managed to reach #12).

November 6, 201114 yr Must say, the Top 40 re-entries by Noel Gallagher and Florence are a positive progression to recent charts; makes a nice change to see non-RnB/dance songs make reinvigorated impacts.

November 6, 201114 yr Sak Noel really was a one-month hit - debuting at #1 it began a rather quick descent down the chart. It's managed to stabilise on iTunes now though, but JLS/One Direction/Olly Murs/Rebecca Ferguson/Lady Gaga/The Collective etc. will all no doubt push it further down.

They have, what, less than 10 actual hits - what are they planning on filling the rest of the tracklist with; album tracks from their previous albums and tonnes of new songs? :lol: Pleased to see Florence re-peak, and I am also hoping it gets a decent peak following their performance tonight! I'm also surprised at how well One Direction have held up, I can see it outlasting their next single within the top 40, as it's completely forgettable.
