Having heard about the recent events on the X Factor, I thought I'd browse these pages out of idle curiosity. I'm not that curious to actually go and watch the show. Haven't done so for a couple of years. Why do I feel upbeat about that???

Kitty : the weakest of all i think

Crag : predictable, a female song turn to him, and sing it his way.but it's beautiful

Little Mix : WTH GARY!? predictable like your Crag and Macas?

Janet : WTH GARY?!?! He's trying PUT IT DOWN ON HIs Threat

Macas : how many up tempo song in a row? and this is the worst out of them

Misha : this is not a song for her....compare last week, last week is much better

Amelia : I don't know this song..BUT this is AWESOME!!!! she has great stage present!

In trouble.. i think it's Kitty, Misha B and Amelia(becoz of missing from he show quite some time) with possible Macas

His name is MARCUS

I think Macas needs an intervention if he wants to stay in the competition.Gary is turning him into an old man-his look, sound and styling are all wrong.

Gary is getting very bitter and bitchy with his comments considering he has the most boring, predictable act in Craig.

Kelly annoyed me last night she did a woeful job of defending Janet against Gary and should have given Louis hell for trying to claim Misha had stolen Kittys song.

Methinks the producers decided on Amelia coming back awhile ago.

Okay, WHY are we calling him MACAS?

Mattluck in his post above called him Macas it just sounds like some form of cheese.

SHOAT RANK

01. Misha I was half-disappointed that we didn't get Kitty blasting her way through Born This Way, but in hindsight I don't think she'd have necessarily done anything new with it. Misha sounded TRIUMPHANT with that new arrangement, even if her voice was slightly muffled at times.

02. Marcus OH DEAR. One half-good performance with a 50s classic, and then the poor boy's gone completely OTT and decided that that's his career sorted, and he starts bleating about "vintage" and all that. There undoubtedy IS a market for something with a vintage TOUCH (Mark Ronson and Plan B Strickland Banks era prove that), but I agree that it's too early for Marcus to decide to completely IMMERSE himself in that one specific and limited sound. Throwing that aside though, the performance itself was as solid as ever.

03. Craig Vocally he's always near-flawless, but I just find it very difficult to get excited about him as an artist. He screams Joe McElderry.

==========================

04. Amelia Nowhere near as perfect as the internet gays would have you believe. Nowhere near as dreadful as Jark would have you believe. Repeating my comments from earlier; very good considering the lack of rehearsal time she would have had, but she needs to learn there's a line between powerful singing, and plain bellowing.

05. Little Mix Still massively likeable, even if they are destined to simply become The Saturdays Mark II (which no-one needs). I will wish them to make the final though, just so we can keep getting ridiculous Tulisa shoutouts to High Wycombe for as long as possible.

06. Janet HA the one time I almost get on board with a Janet performance, and then even GARY BARLOW of all people is calling it out for being dull (this being the man who is yearning to stick acoustic guitars into the hands of Little Mix). I think I was probably swayed by the fact that it's the first time someone's done Somebody To Love (predictable song choice) without turning it into a shoutathon.

==========================

07. Kitty Oh LORD. Terrible song choice; Don't Stop Me Now NEVER comes off as anything more than karaoke, and the X Factor badly need to DUMP this from their playlist. Kitty's f***ED tonight.

PREDICTION Kitty going out against Misha B.

WANT Amelia (sorry, but I'm with Jark on the whole "twist" - no-one who has participated in only half of the live shows should be winning the contest) going out against Janet (I'm prepared to give Kitty the benefit of the doubt due to the TERRIBLE song choice)

well, I got round to watching the clips of these:

Kitty - 5/10 - as expected with that song, she was completely hung up on the drying line :( this was really weak

Craig - 7/10 - again, perfectly solid, but pretty basic after last week

Little Mix - 7/10 - I sense their days are numbered, which is a shame as they're a very good group, this wasn't their best, but it was decent

Janet - 6/10 - I didn't think it was THAT bad like everyone was saying, it would've sounded better if it wasn't the sixtieth time she's done that, she's really starting to slip

Marcus - 8/10 - I'd say he's probably looking a likely winner atm, and deservedly so, another very good performance

Misha - 5/10 - didn't really feel that, wasn't a fan of the arrangement

Amelia - 8/10 - well, I thought it would be slightly better, maybe I'm biased as I really hate this twist - but I still really like her and it stood out (not that that was hard)

can't see anything other than a Kitty/Little Mix bottom 2 atm, with maybe Misha?

That could possibly be true.

She'll have most of Ireland voting for her.

wouldn't surprise me at all, as well as the Irish vote, she'd also have a huge fanbase across the UK, and that could be why they keep putting her early and giving her bad feedback, I still don't think she'll win though, her support will dwindle unless she puts in a really good performance

Janet is sure to do a Diana Vickers and get to the final 4 and will be the least interesting of the group and will go out. I like the fact that she is clearly not a timid, innocent wall flower and can be feisty and tough but she seems bored and lethargic lately.
Apparently Janet's going all diva - she's had loads of massive strops over song choices and outfits, refused to go to a Tinie Tempah gig with Misha and Kelly (which was just as a 'bonding' thing as friends more than mentor/contestant, like on the VT when Tulisa cooked a curry for Little Mix) and more, and Kelly has lost pateince with her. I suppose her 'falling out' with her is why she didn't stick up for her properly while Gary had a dig last night, and left Dermot (what a sexy mofo btw ) to do so instead.
I wouldn't believe everything you read in the tabloids/on Digital Spy... 99% of these stories (even the ones painting the contestants in a bad light) are planted by the X Factor press office.
I know to take everything with a pinch of salt, that's why I said apparently. That story does kind of add up though, seeing as she didn't defend her last night when if that was Misha I'm pretty sure she would've. I doubt Janet is full on stroppy diva, she really doesn't seem that type, though - but I think there's truth (even if it's just a bit) in that article.

My comments about last night's performances:

Kitty - That was a bit disappointing. It was a little bland by Kitty's standards. It doesn't help that she was on first, so I wouldn't be surpised if she's in the bottom two.

Craig - Amazing. One of my favourite performances of the series so far. I really just loved it. Beautiful.

Little Mix - Solid, but not my favourite of theirs.

Janet - I liked it, but I feel like she can do something even better to these ears.

Marcus - Not as amazing for me as last week, but still very enjoyable. I want him to do another performance that makes me go 'wow', like last week.

Misha - Solid, as always.

Amelia - That was probably my second favourite performance of the night. The vocals were spot on in my opinion. A really strong performance.

I think Kitty will be in the bottom 2, with probably Misha or Little Mix joining her.

Kelly did annoy me last night. Not sure why she did not come out fighting for her girls. Tulisa really took Gary to task for insulting Little Mix but Kelly was almost sheepish. It is bad enough that Kelly did not defend Misha against Kittys pathetic VT. She should have called out Gary on his hypocrisy towards Janet considering Craig is the most boring act left who is both predictable and dull.

well tbh Janet and Craig are just as boring and predicatable as each other

Why did Kelly need to defend Misha? The VT came across more to me that Kitty was (as usual) being all drama queen about it rather than Misha being a bully. Misha has definitely won me over personality wise. I don't get the bad feeling about her that I used to.

I hope so!!! It would make sense as the producers seem to be ganging up on Janet (in a way) now that Frankie's gone possibly because they want Misha or Marcus to win. Anyway, I'll be voting for Janet again today :D

Eoghan Quigg topped the voting in Series 5 each week so it wouldn't surprise be if Janet has been with the Irish vote..but the papers also claimed Jedward topped the voting each week, which was far from the case
