Poor sales again this week on both albums and singles charts - JLS and Rihanna will only both sell around 80k and Susan Boyle will be lucky to reach 80k - not great for the first big christmas release week!!

really really hope for the sake of UK music that JLS dont top the charts again in the friday update with that awful musical atrosity.

It doesn't matter if they're still ahead on today's mids, they are dropping back from RiRi so fast on iTunes now that there's no way they'll hold out until Sunday.

Really surprised to see Pixie Lott at #8 given the huge airplay support she receives. Glad to see Rihanna overtaking JLS with a far superior track.
:cheer: for RiRi at number 1 singles, but :nocheer: at Coldplay still at number 6 in the albums. Hope it can climb back up during the Christmas season.
When will sales really start to bolster?? 2 weeks time?

Probably not until the start of december, although the new entries will have big first week sales!

:cheer:

Rihanna obviously wasn't 3725 behind then. How could she have turned that around in one day?!

Anyway who cares, as long as she is there! Lets hope the JLS nuts don't start buying like crazy now!!!

As if THAT many people, least of all JLS nuts, pay ANY attention to the midweeks.

Yes!!! :D

Glad to see Rihanna back at no. 1 as it's easily the better of the two songs. I'm assuming 'Lego House' is no. 6?

Edit; didn't realise Vidcapper has posted the same thing.

Great to see Rihanna at #1 better of the 2 tracks, mind you I do hate tracks that return back at #1, just makes the roll of honour looks messy.
Pleased to see Cher holding up - Really like with ur love

I am not pleased. Mind u such a chav will appeal to similar groups of buyers.

so... when was the last time, that a former No 1 returns to No 1 after 2 weeks absence from the top? ;)

Rihanna has ATM more than 33% of advantage above JLS on itunes...

I believe Rihanna will be above 80K this week, which means that daily sales are around or even above 10.000 a day. So if u do the math... Rihanna sold AT LEAST around 3.300 copies more than JLS. Its not that difficult.

What was difficult to believe is that JLS was #1 when they havent been ahead on itunes for a second

Bruno Mars 'Just the Way You Are' hit #1 for the second time four weeks after its first stay at #1 last October. Then after that was Adele who returned to #1 in March after a week's absence, so Rihanna will be the first since then.
