I can't believe Coldplay have dropped down to 6 place :o . Hopefully it will rise back up
Ooft. Nice to see Kelly climb from her original position on Monday! She seems to do that a lot. Pleased it's hanging around...
Any sign of Sound of Arrows?

Nope, it's not like people have taste in this country or anything

anyone know if JLS have any promo lined up for tomorrow or saturday if they do then they could well hold onto the no1 spot
Cher's album is less than 40 minutes long. It should be as cheap as £3.99!

I gues those who listen to it dont have to suffer for that long. :D

Like I said yesterday, not surprised to see JLS still #1 - I would have been surprised if they weren't #1. I think they could still be #1 tomorrow but they have no chance of holding on all week.

Coldplay out of the top 5? :( They obviously weren't that close to #4 then...

Uk Midweek Chart update: Rihanna breathing down JLS's necks

16:32 | Thursday November 10, 2011

By Paul Williams

Rihanna featuring Calvin Harris’s We Found Love is stubbornly continuing to put the pressure on JLS’s Take A Chance On Me to top the UK singles chart this coming Sunday and complete a simultaneous trans-Atlantic chart-topping double.

The Def Jam/Mercury release, which previously spent three weeks leading the UK chart before Professor Green featuring Emeli Sande’s Virgin single Read All About It took over for two weeks, is just 3,725 sales behind Epic’s newly-issued JLS single. The UK chart battle continues as We Found Love secures a second week at the head of the Billboard Hot 100 in the US.

Syco’s Susan Boyle, meanwhile, is moving further ahead of Island’s Florence + The Machine’s Ceremonials on the UK artist albums chart with Someone To Watch Over Me now having sold more than 40,000 copies since its release on Monday, according to the Official Charts Company. At the beginning of the week Ceremonials, which debuted at number one on Sunday, was ahead.

Simon and Garfunkel's Greatest Hits is missing from the update. It should be shown in the top 40 list.

Any idea why it is back?

Added... there was a docu on TV.

Rihanna hasn't closed the gap by much in the last 2 days - maybe it could be close...

Hmmm so she's not even closed the gap by 2k yet.

Maybe JLS will hang on... but i'm guessing the weekend effect for WFL will be quite big

Why aren't JLS falling!!!!!!! :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2:
Omg, I expected it to be 2,000 now! Rihanna probably won't do it! JLS need to crash to like 60% tomorrow, or it just aint happening. She will end up losing by 1500 copies or something!! :snif:

ive seen JLS take a chance on me trending on twitter a few different times and other artist are tweeting the itunes link and encouraging their fans to buy it

it's gonna be interesting on sunday to see who makes it to the top looks like its gonna be close

To be fair Pro Green didn't on Cher last week but still ended 11k ahead. Are Tues-Thurs not the smallest sales days? If so it's not really surprising the gap hasn't changed much, it's probably only about 12k to 10.5k over two days.

really really hope for the sake of UK music that JLS dont top the charts again in the friday update with that awful musical atrosity.

I'm not really surprised JLS are still number 1, they haven't fallen anywhere near as quickly as Cher did so are holding up better, I still think Rihanna will just get it - the weekend will give her quite a boost

My guess is that Pixie will fall to #9 on Sunday :(
