Didn't Kelly try to say that they were the new En Vogue a few weeks back? Maybe Tulisa's trying to prove a point with this song but personally I see no similarity between the two bands whatsoever and I don't imagine they'll be able to pull it off terribly successfully, it's a big song.

Jade's apparently got 'suspected tonsillitis' as well so they may be down a member :(

maybe they could get ashford to replace her for a week. :kink:

If Little Mix were to perform that song, it might go against them as it's not exactly a well known song. Like with Sophie performing 'Bang Bang' as soon as I found out she was singing that, I knew it would potentially be the end of Sophie because I suspect people tend to vote for the songs as well as the singer.

Well known song + average/bad vocal = safe (eg; 'I Gotta Feeling' by Frankie, 'Somebody To Love' by Janet)

Unknown song + good/ok vocal = not safe (eg; 'Bang Bang' by Sophie,

'Don't Let Go'

by Little Mix <--- were this to happen)

That's just my thinking though and I'd be happy to be proved wrong.

I think the majority of Little Mix's success has been down to song choice. Every week they've done something that's probably going to be played in Tiger Tiger, and a big part of Xfactor's audience is people pre drinking before hitting town. I think the most "far out" they went was I'm Like A Bird.
They just don't have the vocals for it, nor the harmonies.

They need something like "I'll Stand By You"

No way. Give them 'I'll Stand By You' and you may as well just not bother with this weekends show

As for their rumoured song choice this week, I like it! Hopefully it'll be better than the Sugababes' version (which (again, sorry Phil! Haha - I seem to be saying this a lot about Sugababes songs in this thread haha) I really don't rate, at all.) But I hope they surprise and nail it. Although I'm not so confident. I think nerves could get the better of them this week. :(

Oooh. I'd also love Little mix attempt Cassie 'Is It You?' or Cherish 'Killa'. I think they'd do very well with them!

The problem with that theory is most that go tiger tiger and are pre-drinking, they wont be voting for acts on X Factor

Apparently Craig is now dating Danyl Johnson from a few years ago :o Huge mouth soulmates!

EDIT: Oh, he's denied it :P

As for Little Mix singing stuff that 'would be played in Tiger Tiger' it's just a style and you can't say that's why they get votes... I'd say if anything the generic song choices should be hindering them, so glad it's not though!

Apparently Craig is now dating Danyl Johnson from a few years ago :o Huge mouth soulmates!

lol that sounds like such a rumour. They were probably seen together once, which straight away means they're 'seeing eachother'.

They would be the cutest couple

Their sex must involve a hell of a lot of gurning.

God I hated Danyl. He ruined 'And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going'.

It's a widely loved 90s classic!

OMG AMELIA IS SINGING

Think by Aretha Franklin

Oh my lord that's gonna be epic!

I really like her but I'm not sure if she'll pull that off. Sounds like more of a

Misha B

song.

You just know she'll either smash it, or it'll be a motorway pile up (stealing Shoat's words from a few pages ago!).

She'll have to do A LOT to beat

Siobhan's

performance of it on American Idol the other year though!

Tonight's songs confirmed :)

Little Mix – Don’t Let Go, from Set It Off

Marcus Collins – Higher And Higher, from Ghostbusters II

Misha B – I Have Nothing, from The Bodyguard

Janet Devlin – Kiss Me, from She's All That

Amelia Lily – Think, from Bridget Jones

Craig Colton – License To Kill, from James Bond: License To Kill

Janet's gonna smash that! Little Mix could go either way, I'm sure Marcus will be fine! Misha will smash hers too, but it doesn't matter as she's a goner...
Love love love

Kiss Me

- hope it brings some attention back to the original, it's definitely a song I've never grown tired of - and that's despite it being played at least twice a day at work.

Well, Janet Devlin murders a classic seems to be the recurring theme with her, so no change this week.

Craig should do that justice I hope, it's just another black woman ballad which he can gurn his way through. I hope he does at any rate, it's one of my favourite

Bond theme's
