Formed in Manchester, U.K., in the late 1990s, this five-piece rock outfit hit big with their debut album, ASLEEP AT THE BACK. Combining socially relevant lyrics concerning the contemporary British experience with complex, passionate music, they drew comparisons with both classic rock acts of previous decades--including Pink Floyd and Talk Talk--and more contemporary bands like Radiohead, while pursuing a more mainstream path than experimentally inclined millennial bands like Sigur Ros and Godspeed You Black Emperor. - HMV

Jar of Hearts is so epic. It reminds me of my ex who I felt put my heart in his jar and then shat in the jar and shook it up and threw my heart back out

I really hope Elbow have made it in so they can add another top 40 stint without ever peaking higher than 35! I'm not convinced it'll have sold enough, however the fact it sells well anyway gives me a bit more hope....

Edit: HURRAH! :D

Wonder what the next two new entries will be? Katy Perry, Slow Moving Millie, Glee Cast, Westlife, Jessie J could all be #37 or #36.

If it feels weird to call it a new entry, then call it a f***ing re-entry Reggie, because that's what it is -_-

What's the betting this will get to #35 AGAIN next week? Great to see it add another top 40 week to its tally and most likely another next week, I almost don't want it to re-peak. I wonder how much this has sold now?

If Glee Cast are in the top 40 today, I'll be very happy :) Didn't think any Season 3 songs would come anywhere near the top 40!
Fantastic that is back in the Top40. Brillant song. How did this only got to #35?
so annoying that this still hasn't reached the top 34 yet :( I hope one day it will do an 'Iris/Cannonball' and get a more justifiable peak

Is it me or is Glee crap now?

Oh f**king YES!! The One That Got Away is back! It just clicked with me when I saw the video.

Loving the start today!

I think Jessie J will be much higher than this.

Katy Perry back. This song is qutie sweet. I think it might peak top 20.

The One That Got Away

It's been about, what, 16 months since I first heard this - when I first heard it was being released I was a bit disappointed, but I'm firmly back in love with it

This is an exciting chart today, probably one of my favourites of the year with all the different re-entries and new entries.
I really like this Katy Perry song
The video makes this track a hit for me - I hope it can at least peak inside the T20 in the coming weeks. Shame her biggest promotion, The X Factor, has already been (and before the radio and video boosted it).
