If this video is just another video of them sitting on the beach/sitting in a car/dancing in a club with numerous poses to the camera and "sexy" looks, I honestly give up. They need to show some character. We know Mollie is absolutely hilarious and very Disney, why not use that in the video? Have her gushing over Hannah Montanna and then trying to impress Travie by doing a Britney impersonation! OK, maybe too far but The Sats are very funny girls but all their music videos have them as emotionless robots (AFU and MHTO i'm looking at you). The only times I can think of there being a slight hint of character are in the Notorious video of Frankie winking at the camera in the lift and her and Mollie dancing before Una's verse, the Higher video with the zebra crossing/leg crossing on the bench/Frankie blowing a kiss to the camera before Flo-Rida cuts in and the Just Can't Get Enough video (for obvious reasons).

 

I'd love to see some geeky/Disney Mollie in the videos, some flirty and giggly Frankie, some Diva and "mumsy" Rochelle, some crazy and awkward Una and moody/stroppy Vanessa in their videos. This could really help them connect with the public, I think.

They should save themselves the humiliation and scrap another single.

 

Time out till 'The Sound of Saturdays' is issued next October, preceded by probably their best single of all time. Followed by a mediocre bside and the inevitable split.

'The Way You Watch Me' is the only song I skip I just dont like it only rated it a 2 out of 5 much better on the album

I think The Way You Watch Me is incredibly instant. I'm not sure if it'll be a hit but that's probably because MHTO flopped rather than anything to do with the quality of the song. Six months ago I'd have said it was a guaranteed hit. It's a 'safe' choice but that's what they need right now.

 

I'm not feeling this as a single choice, but perhaps I'll warm to it in time.

I always loved TWYWM, to be honest! It took me a few listens on the OYR Unlocker of the preview, but since then I've loved it. It's not the best on the album but it's not a bad choice for single, I think.

Yeah I agree, it'll be left as the 'amazing album track' of the era, imo it's not single material. Realistically, only TWYWM and perhaps Faster have a chance at being big. Sadly the former will be their worst single as I said, but it's not a bad choice given that it will do OK.

Seriously, as if anything else is ever going to be a top 5 single on this album now. I don't think there's anything they can do to save this album now really, but releasing this is a surefire way to make a bad situation worse.

I really want Promise Me and Get Ready Get Set as singles over this really badly.

It was my least favourite on the album, but after seeing it on tour, it is not hard to see why it's chosen as the next single. (Even if I would prefer anything else over it). It's definitely grown on me! Hopefully it's another hit for them. I really don't know with them. It's going to go either way. I want to say it will be a hit, but I said that about 'My Heart Takes Over' and look what happened there. Maybe releasing this is right though, in the sense it has Travie on it, so radio will continue to support them for this era? :unsure: 'Faster', 'Do What You Want With Me' or 'White Lies' next please!

this is a poor boring single choice following, honestly, a boring third single used to launch the album!

 

The Saturdays are terribly managed, they always have been.

 

If This Love, Forever is Over, Missing You, Notorious! All the wrong first single choices!

 

This era All Fired Up followed by Get Ready, Get Set or Faster would have been as good as any thing!

 

I still wish One Shot had launched instead of Forever is Over!

 

Anyway, this is a rubbish new single wont save the album! The fans have posted this on all their Twitter all the forums say this why is no one listening.

They've not confirmed or denied any song as single #4 yet. I doubt it'd be White Lies though as they didn't perform it on tour. Would be a bit weird to release a song you didn't even perform when you toured...

It'd be a bit weird if they released White Lies though, that's just how I feel. :P

 

I hope it's Faster. It's by far the most radio friendly and just screams SINGLE to me.
