Promo announced...

(If you're worried about the single, LOOK AWAY NOW)

5th May - Koko Pop (Interview)

6th May - Britain's Got More Talent (SIGH)

13th May - Sunday Brunch (Interview)

19th May - Keith Lemon Lemonaid (Performing)

Tbh, I would say this will be lucky to sell over 150,000 sales.

LMAO. :( They really cannot catch a break, can they? What's with siding them to just the spin off shows? Ugh. Hope 'The Voice' is somewhere down the line, although I'm realy not hopeful. How big are we expecting 'Lemonaid' to be? I assume it's a Keith Lemon charity sow, thing? (A smaller scale Comic Relief/Children In Need)

Totally agree, they seem incapable of getting the chance to perform on a big stage. Their biggest performance was Dancing On Ice tbh, which says something. I doubt they will be performing on The Voice as Emei Sande & Scissor Sisters are the next two guest performers. Lemonaid's viewers is around 2-3million :(

Ugh, oh god :( They really just will never get a chance for big promo will they?

I'm so annoyed, no doubt it'll be the usual Justin Bieber, THe Wanted, Cheryl Cole and the already confirmed Susan bloody Boyle on BGT.I hate to be pessimistic but I can't see this doing much better than Proud by JLS. Worse than that is my awful little gut feeling :( They have a bigger fan base AND it was a Sport Relief single. I just pray this can go top 5 and spend a good number of weeks top 40, but at this stage I doubt it...

All Fired Up was MUCH better, had much better airplay and had better promo and even that only lasted six weeks in the top 40.

I don't even know what to say. There's no way '30 Days' is suddenly going to be *the one* that is a hit for the girls. There's absolutely no buzz around it at all. Everytime I turn on the music channels it's RIP, Laserlight, Call Me Maybe and Young that's dominating and whenever I turn on the radio it's always Part Of Me, Turn Up The Music, Wild Ones and Titanium. I'm one of those people that isn't satisfied with just selecting a music channel and needs to go through every single one until I find a song I like, and very rarely have I seen '30 Days'. I think i've seen it on Starz once, ChartShowTV a few times and The Box five or six times since it debuted. They're never going to have major success unless TV and airplay are supporting them, although even when they were supported (Missing You) they still managed to plummet from a #3 position. I'd love one day for the girls to have a chart run like 1 - 2 - 4 - 6 - 6 - 8 - 11 etc like everyone else (I don't know any other artist besides McFly that have such frontloaded releases) but it'll probably never happen. It's so frustrating.

The fact they're neglected to Britains Got MORE Talent says it all. So last year they were supposed to do X Factor and they got bumped to Xtra Factor and now they can't even get a slot on a show that's supposed to showcase BRITISH TALENT? The Wanted will be making their third major ITV performance (after two XF slots), so will Justin Bieber (after two XF slots) and you can bet if Pixie Lott was releasing something she'd be on the show, or if Jessie wasn't doing The Voice she'd be on. I don't get why Britains biggest girlband (by default or not) can't bag themselves even one major performance? What other big artist still does shows like Koko Pop?

Of course this single will flop on it's arse and there'll be yet ANOTHER break before they launch the next flop single in September or something. :(

To be honest I think this year is the final year of them being together, regardless of all this America talk. I don't know why, just a hunch. Their contract with Polydor is a 5 album deal right? The cynic and negative side of me says they're just rushing this album out so the label can finish the contract and dump them. (Probably unlikely, I don't know much about the business side of it all, it's just me being negative about their position because I don't think they're ever going to sell big, advance and keep the label happy and bring in money for the label again IMO). There's only so many chances they can get.

Knowing them, if they go out there, they'll decide to make this their debut single in America. They shouldn't even bother going over there if they do. Would be funny though if they end up being more successful in America than here. Completely unlikely though. I don't think people will take to them out there, their look is too glam/sexy now. At the start of their career their look was good - they had the whole 'girl next door' and colour coded dresses thing going on and girls could relate to them easily, at the minute they do look a bit too 'boyfriend stealer'/almost too glamorous in their look. Now and again they look more like five wags than a girl group. I dunno, just a thought.

It's weird to think they've been around nearly 5 years now.. and they're basically still at the same point they were when starting out, they've never really progressed. :(

I presume the reason Simon/ITV won't put them on the main show is because of their album sales and tour sales aren't as big as the artists they do put on, they can't seem to get the public to buy into them past the one song. But take XF/BGT aside, they've preformed on Dancing On Ice, Alan Carr, Graham Norton and (maybe just an interview) on The Jonathon Ross Show in the past, which are all huge shows. I think to be taking really seriously they do need that #1/huge selling single OR shift albums to platinum+ or sell out multiple dates in the same venue and become a touring act, they basically need to add another string to their bow. At the moment they are very much a singles act without that huge seller. I don't think Simon/ITV have anything against them, it just makes sense to priorities other artists who do better on the charts and when touring over the girls. For me it just feels a bit frustrating that Ego or Higher hadn't been lead singles as both felt like they had the potential to go #1, or that Headlines! hadn't had been a straight forward re-release of Wordshaker and would have maybe got their second album to more respectable sales. But hey what can you do, it's all what if's and buts, we could never be sure. Personally, I just don't see 30 Days doing all that well for them though, but I hope I'm wrong.
19th May - Keith Lemon Lemonaid (Performing)

According to the mailer, they'll be on the 12th.

Frankie & Mollie will also be on the Chris Moyles Show at 8am on Tuesday 8th.

An insider said they're on their second contract, so they probably have two more albums left. To sign a new band for five albums seems too much, as three album deals are the general norm. Plus, you don't let your act to record as many songs as they've done this year just to rush-out a release and certainly you don't let them work with as expensive producers as Xenomania. In those cases labels just put out a singles collection (in the case of Sugababes, Island released a b-sides compilation).

Besides, that doesn't fit with them creating their own company and applying for the rights of the name. We can just accept that they are not making a lot of money, but I doubt they are in much debt with their record sales, touring and endorsements, which will probably be multiplied if they go to the US.

Their look, even though it could be more polished, fits perfectly with the general look of E!'s shows.

(All Fired Up) had much better airplay

Really? I don't remember it going higher than top20.

Generally since 'Higher' they've had poor airplay. 'Notorious' for me was their career killer because it was OA/OS. A held back release could have got it top 3 and continued their standards of airplay. It also made people cautious of playing them (e.g. low airplay for All Fired Up, My Heart Takes Over and now 30 Days).

All Fired Up peaked at #14 on the radio, but had MUCH better Tv Airplay

Uk Airplay

39. The Saturdays - 30 Days (TBH, This is fantastic news, it shows Radio are still intrested in them, this is with no capital plays aswell)

Uk Television Airplay

34. The Satudays - 30 Days

Tbh, I still find this a bit weird, surely if the girls were performing on BGMT tomorrow, they would have announced it on twitter ETC...

I see why Simon dosen't want them on his shows, as he needs Little Mix to be popular, therefore the decline of Saturdays would be for the best, but at least Saturdays will be performing infront of Simon even if it's on BGMT so it's there chance to shine.

Still time for them to say something on twitter.

its not as bad as your all making out guys. chill.

Yes! People need to sit down!

The only reason they're being 'relegated' is because the demand for them is less than say The Wanted for example. You dont just bag yourself a break on BGT or Xfactor during an artists sales dip.

The good thing for them, is that they're very much at the centre of attention. They're on all the mags and in the public eye. Their presence is there. They just need this next single (which is supposed to be their best yet) to make people sit up and pay attention to them musically.

Trust me, they still make Polydor a He'll of a lot of money.

Tour sales alone racked in 4million and that's not including the mechanise sales, which will be probably be quite high.

Loads of endorsements Rimmel, Citreon, nail varnish range, nintendo Ds, Impulse, own t-shirt range in Selfridges, Calendar sales, book, Mechandise sales on official website and magazine deals.

Plus people forget that the sell a lot of Physical copies around 2k on release, Most of these are through the official store £2.99 plus £1.99 delivery (and they make money on delivery)...effectively it's like 3 iTunes sales and even then they are making more money than they would through iTunes single downloads.

I reckon despite the poor sales of albums when u go deeper not many other artists have such loyal and strong fan bases

I agree that people are still very interested in The Sats they are always in the mags.

While it's nice to see them all over the place in the press and media at the moment, and yes it does give them a presence and make people aware of them, that doesn't mean it guarantees them success and have it translate into sales etc, it merely just makes people question whether Mollie and Harry really are dating, how Aoife is doing etc, Una/Rochelle's weddings... to the general public surely that wouldn't make them think 'Must buy their single!' etc? Although, I wouldn't complain if it did haha.

2ndAdventure - how come you know about the next single? :) Spill the beans. :P

Still meant to be performing on BGMT tonight but I have heard nothing from any members of The Saturdays.

I was worried more about MHTO than I am for this....

And anyway, airplay isn't the worst and we've always got the 'usual better second single' to look forward to :P
