I agree, Higher would have easily went to number one as It would have had better airplay (I know Missing You went to number one on airplay) but it dropped like a stone. However I see what management done, Karma, Puppet or Missing You would not work as a single. Higher was the only single material left on Headlines tbh.

Slowly climbing on the radio, it's currently climbed up one position to #37 from #38, I can see this still peaking in the top 20 after it's A-Listed by Radio1 which will still be quite an achivement.

It's also still dropping on Television airplay, but it should hopefully peak in the next week and have a steady climb!

They're just treated like a second-rate group, who haven't truly 'made it big time'. That's evident because they're hardly ever performing on the most major shows. Currently Britain's Got Talent & The Voice are airing, and they won't be on either programme.

Their promo schedule is pretty basic - if it's truly the best they can get themselves, it's a worry. I don't see why the single after this one will be any different. It's just the same excuses made for them every single time.

I don't see why they bother with shows like Daybreak and This Morning anyway. They very rarely give any sort of boost.

And like I said the other day, a girlband who has been around since 2008 and have had four albums/three tours/12 singles should NOT need to go on shitty morning TV shows to promote their material. They should be at the stage where they can get a huge hit simply because of airplay and maybe one huge TV performance, there's no need for them to be whoring themselves out on shows that nobody watches or cares about, especially Koko Pop.

Strongly disagree. Even Girls Aloud and the Spice Girls did morning shows, long into their very successful careers. The Saturdays should absolutely be on the morning shows, they're certainly not above such appearances. Every show they appear on is vital and better than not appearing on anything at all.
Promotion is promotion at the end of the day. Even if it's to 1,000 viewers or over 1 million, it'll all benefit in some way. They're very restricted as to what they can perform on at the moment. BGT could easily do two guest performers (like XF) so I don't get why Simon hasn't chosen that option. But The Saturdays just need to find their sound ('Up', 'Ego', 'Higher', 'Issues') again and stick with that, as it's the pure pop songs that sell for them. 'All Fired Up' may have given them their biggest opening sales, but isn't it struggling to hit 200k? (IDK what the sales are so I'm guessing) Go back to the pure pop sound. Not these, Alexis Jordan-knockoffs. As good as the tracks are, they're not identifiable as The Saturdays, which is where they're going wrong imo.

They aknowledge themselves that they haven't cracked the UK yet, so no they're not going to be up there with all these international popstars appearing BGT and Xfactor etc. They're massive shows that pull in over 10m so they're going to do their research and see who the viewers want to see.

I'm not personally making excuses for this campaign. The next one is better.

They should be at that stage, but they aren't, specially considering the performance of their last single.

I'm with you in this: we've seen campaign after campaign that morning shows do not affect iTunes sales. Still, any promotion is good for them.

Btw they're not performing are they?!

No, just BGMT. They're not all going to be on it either. Rochelle is at Downing Street it seems.

Rochelle has been asked to be part of Cabinet? Minister for Pop Music? :w00t:

Well, at least we'll get an appearance on BGMT.

It sucks that they're going to be on Radio 1's B-list the week of release :(

Haha that would be awesome!

I don't know, I mean, they've been A-List before and hardly had any plays from Radio 1. At least Radio 1 seem to be actually playing the track despite being B-List.

If this doesn't make A-List, this will be the first single not to make it wont it?

You make it sound like B list is crap. It's better than C list, and it's sure as hell better than not being play listed at all.

#156 on pre-orders

the only 13 May release above them is the Oliver Twist remixes EP at #96

I think it's good that it's b-list, this could be the longest Satudays single to be on BBC1 (C-B-B-B and it should get two weeks at Alist hopefully!
