I'm not bothered about poppiness, but I was a fan of Nicki before "Pink Friday", so you know, her pop music isn't interesting to me that much. I just want proper lyrics.

Any idea when we'll be hearing 'Va Va Voom'? We're apparently getting the album cover next week, as well as the 'Roman In Moscow' and 'Stupid Hoe' music videos, then the album tracklist the week after.

 

I'm also praying that this is real...

Probably too good to be true though. Although it was rumoured a few months back that they were working together, so who knows.

That'd be AMAZING if it's true! Hopefully it wouldn't turn out to be another 'Videophone' or 'Let Them Hoes Fight'.

And the rumour is that the album is being pushed back so she can work on poppier stuff with Dr. Luke.

I LOVE that song and video (got that Gwen Stefani vibe). :wub: Better than I was expecting.

Well it's a nice song. Really catchy obviously - you can't not be catchy when the chorus is just the same thing repeated! I can only fault it on the singing part after the middle 8. It's out of place. The video is also good although I swear so many people will have epileptic fits watching it! :lol: The flashing was just ridiculous at points. The middle 8 parts with the giant eyes were also not needed. Good effort overall I guess but it's no Massive Attack or Super Bass.

I am sorry but 'Stupid Hoe' is refusing to grow, no matter what, its just so awful never mind how much of a good video it has for it. If she is dissing Shakira though or anyone else, thats a bit far.

 

Also the album is pushed back to April 3rd now.

I dont know, at least Pink in the 'Stupid Girls' video was taking the piss out of people like Paris Hilton, Shakira is great and not a 'stupid hoe' in any way.

Well, she did decide not to release Loca in the UK. :kink: Perhaps Nicki is mad about that? Who knows, she might be a total iLoon.

 

Also I would argue that Paris is more intelligent than she seems but that's neither here nor there really.

"Stupid Hoe" is a blatant aim at Lil' Kim. But it is only a viral single. "Va Va Voom" is impacting radio February 7th.
