February 6, 201213 yr Does it sample Fefe Dobson 'Stuttering'? It sounds too similar for it not to officially sample it  I do love it though, already!
February 6, 201213 yr Sounds VERY different for her. Even got a pop/rock vibe going on but I do love it, it's just not very Minaj sounding.
February 6, 201213 yr Thats miles better than 'Stupid Hoe' although its mabye a little too much the other way, and not enough Nicki in it. I would hope that if it makes the album, they would add a rap verse and another chorus to it to make it more Nicki because at the moment, that really could be anyone singing it, although I do really like the melody, and her vocals sound nice.
February 7, 201213 yr 'Starships' is the title of the lead single (previously called 'Va Va Voom') and will premiere on Monday. She's also performing a new promo track on Sunday at the Grammys called 'Roman Holiday'.
February 7, 201213 yr Va Va Voom isn't happening, the new single is called Starships and premieres on Ryan Seacrest's radio show on Monday. Nicki tweeted this article from mypinkfriday.com: Fresh off her halftime performance with Madonna, Nicki Minaj is announcing the release of her second studio album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded on April 3. Minaj released her debut album, Pink Friday, in November 2010. On Sunday, Minaj will perform Roman Holiday, from the new album, at the Grammys. Minaj's Grammy nominations include best new artist, best rap performance and best rap album. On Monday, look for Ryan Seacrest to premiere Minaj's new single, Starships, available on iTunes the same day. Nicki Minaj will wrap up a busy February with a performance at the 2012 NBA All-Star Game in Orlando on Feb. 26th. A press release hinted Minaj will perform, but did not reveal if for the halftime show.
February 8, 201213 yr So excited!! :D Hope it lives up to expectations ... really loving ''Marilyn Monroe'' right now as well. It needs to leak in full!
February 8, 201213 yr I'm not usually pro-pop Nicki, but I love "Marilyn Monroe", I hope it's on the CD!
February 8, 201213 yr Roman Holiday is released in the USA on Sunday and Starships is released on Monday. Interesting :P I wonder if the UK will get them too, Young Money artists (well, Lil Wayne and Drake anyway) seem to release their material here pretty soon after they do in the USA and we got 'Roman In Moscow' and 'Stupid Hoe' at around the same time as the US as well IIRC.
February 12, 201213 yr When was the last time RedOne actually scored a HIT with a female popstar? 'On The Floor' probably? That was rather fabulous though, RedOne is either extremely brilliant or complete generic rubbish, he is very inconsistent. It is nearly a year now since 'On The Floor' basically now, so its time RedOne comes back with a brilliant song.
February 12, 201213 yr The last RedOne song to make the top 10 in the UK was Judas off the top of my head. On The Floor was the last proper big worldwide hit though definitely.
February 12, 201213 yr Nicki shouldn't work with RedOne. Too many songs of his sound the same. I want to hear something I've never heard before on Nicki's album. The only good recent RedOne song I can think of is this Mohombi song I've been hearing lately on the radio. But it sounds more like a Drake song than anything.
February 12, 201213 yr Roman dance tracks is what I thought she'd do. It's like the best of both worlds.
February 13, 201213 yr Nicki's arrival at The GRAMMYs: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/24409594/Screen%20shot%202012-02-12%20at%208.21.43%20PM.png Trying too hard, far too hard.
February 13, 201213 yr Final version of Marilyn Monroe leaked  Also, just  at her Grammys performance, I can't even... Edited February 13, 201213 yr by Liаm
February 13, 201213 yr I don't even know what to comment on her performance, tbh! I don't know what's happened to her with this era, it's all been very disappointing apart from 'Roman In Moscow'. :(
February 13, 201213 yr 'Young Forever' has also leaked. What time can we expect 'Starships'? The last RedOne song to make the top 10 in the UK was Judas off the top of my head. On The Floor was the last proper big worldwide hit though definitely. 'Down For Whatever' has RedOne production credits and is more recent. Trying too hard, far too hard. Just like Gaga then?
February 13, 201213 yr Jesus that song is just embarasing, she's really lost what made her special to begin with, all three of the buzz tracks so far have been dire shit. Edited February 13, 201213 yr by J-o-e
